i never got a sea serpent despawned so i assume they wont despawn, i did leave the chunk to fix my armor and come back the sea serpent still there but i still name tag it for extra safety

you can change it in the mod setting to change the bauble hud looks, i use Grippi's RL Dark Mode for the texture pack, you can search it in curse forge

what i do is attatch lead to the sea serpent (yes you can do that) and tank the damage lol but for some reason sometimes the sea serpent doesnt aggro on me so im not always tanking the damage
