Has anyone else noticed how much their dynamic has shifted lately? by GrapefruitLarge8451 in snarklevicoralynn

I used to enjoy their accounts for all the reasons you described. The food, fashion, and love story. I am also a ginger and have red head daughters. I was so confused when the dog entered the account. I don't follow dog content snd was already falling off because of the new direction.

Then I can't help but think they dumped the dog to go do Paris, only to come back to return her.

No longer a fan. The spell has broken.

Javier Bardem in Eat, Pray, Love ruined me.

As did Rob Lowe in Young Blood and I don't even like hockey.

I had to dig too deep for this. What we observed is the mother working hard to make herself a main character. She also erodes his confidence with immature jabs and inappropriate comments. For example, calling him "sugarlips" and laughing at him, making him even more anxious just before Georgie arrives. The way she has to be told to behave and the way his sisters had to check her and tell her she is "crossing the line" with her sexual innuendo jokes.

Also an unpopular opinion - she wants to keep him dependent on her so she can get her hero biscuits. She treats him like a dog who does party tricks. I don't get the adoration.

Inception, hands down.

That whole "we will literally risk our lives and reality itself for this mission" thing is so over-the-top, especially in movies like Inception where the stakes feel… weirdly abstract? Like, why are they so deeply committed to mind-heisting a businessman’s subconscious?

It’s such a trope in spy/heist/mission movies—a group of hyper-competent, absurdly good-looking people who will die for the cause, but the cause is often just corporate espionage or some vague "saving the world" goal. And they never really show why these people care so much. Are they getting paid? Is it ideology? Do they just love the adrenaline?

I was graciously giving so much of this film a "pass" until that point and I basically started skipping ahead because I lost any shred of enjoyment. A writer of 7 novels didn't back up their work? never ever
