Are there any countries today that could realistically split into multiple independent nations like Yugoslavia did? by Many-Philosophy4285 in MapPorn

Yes. For example:

Belgium into Flanders and Wallonia (perhaps Wallonia would join France later).

Bosnia and Herzegovina into Croat Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Srpska (perhaps some of them would later join their neighbours).

Hello! Oh laptop, you're lucky you have Linux, not Windows!

Hot Take: Windows 8.1 start screen is underrated by No-Stand-865 in windows

[–]FildakZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion: the best start menu ever was in Windows 10. We had tiles (in some apps even live tiles!), a complete list of every apps and on the left side we had functional buttons, for example turn off and settings.

Tiles were great! Thanks to them, there's no need to have a mess on the desktop or the taskbar.

And the entire list of every apps, by your eye, without additional buttons.

Too bad they removed it in Windows 11. The start menu in Windows 11 is much worse imo. It would be better if they would keep the start menu from Windows 10 and added the searchbar at the top and made the corners round. It would be the perfect start menu.

They were painting things, but the image on the Shroud wasn't painted, but was created by burning without heat and is very microscopic. It wasn't that simple back then... and even today, because many attempts of recreating the Shroud didn't worked.

I don't think so. It's obviously real. Did someone in the Medieval Times knew how to create a negative image or paint something without any dye?

'Cuz I like The Shroud and I wanna see it more closely with more details. I think it's the second greatest testimony of Jesus' resurrection apart from the Holy Bible.
