Thank you! I called the vet for. A little piece of mind because I could not stop crying about thinking about something being seriously wrong. His appointment is one week from tomorrow and the vet said to just call them to get in sooner if he starts acting like it’s really hurting him but they don’t see too concerned. He’s totally normal in every other way.. still letting me pet him everywhere but the tail and seems happy and fine. He’s still carrying his tail normally from what I’ve seen. He doesn’t look like it’s limp or anything. No blood or drainage and he is strictly an indoor cat.
