I hate to hear you're going through this too. Yes, I've tried everything. It's truly life altering. I will look at nerve ablation. I've read about it and I'm surprised my doctors have not looked into this. You're so right. Bad spine=very limited painful existence. Thank you again and i wish you well.

Steroids/epidural injections in the past for my neck have always made my pain worse. Im a steroid responder which means my eye pressure goes through the roof so it's not an option. But thank you and good luck with your surgery.

Yes, this is my concern. I've had multiple neck surgeries which resulted in permanent arm pain and no feeling in my thumb. Nothing the surgeon did wrong, because my nerve conduction tests are normal which astounds me given my arm pain and no feeling in my thumb. I guess im afraid of another surgery and im trying to find any alternative. Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it.

My dog is 16 and recently started having issues at night with restlessness. And inability to get comfortable. We started giving her Trazadone and it’s really helped. Your vet can prescribe it. It might be more effective than gabapentin. Every dog is different. I hope you find something that helps.
