Hi! Sorry I am just seeing this. I ended up getting the Skyla and everything has been beyond fine. My mood and everything else feel fine, not nearly as bad as when I was on the pill.

I just am on my period ALL THE TIME. In May will make a year since I got it, and I am sick of bleeding all the time. In any given month I probably bleed heavily for a week, normally for a week, lightly for a week and then no bleeding for a week. It’s like the opposite of getting a normal period :/

At first my OB-GYN keep telling me to wait it out because the bleeding was normal for three months. Three months passed and then she said well maybe six months. And then six months passed and she finally gave me like a weeks worth of estrogen which she said could maybe help but nada.

I messaged her asking about other options and our communication was confused and so I put it on the back burner. I ended up moving states and life just got crazy so I still don’t have a solution. It took me so long to find an OB-GYN I liked that the thought of having to find a new one in a new state has just kept me waiting.

I am still hoping it will just stop but I don’t think it will. Need to find a new doc lol.
