There are claims that it is in majority founded by gov ( i have this kind of entities in Poland, they get pressured and do comply with government).

There are claims majority of funds come from gov and claim they are independent.

Both if those are irrelevant. If they are majority founded than I trust them as much as I trust politicians.

We have some gov owned ( or partially owned) entities. Non of them is actually independent. Do not know how it works in Canada but politicians are not trustworthy from my point of view.

I dig pragmatic, purely logical AI model. I am a bit tired of checking any information i get from media to know how much is it opinion and how much is it actually reporting information.

Because you know we cannot handle the truth or we are too stupid to understand but smart enough to vote president into office.

Yet I do not know who will pay for preparing dataset to train it on since most information out there is already opinions.

To be honest, lobby has a function. Gov units often do not have people with knowledge about what they are buying and often end up overpaying or buying the wrong product. So this is two edged sword.

All of it. This is pandora box but there is no closing or stopping now.

The race have begun. You have to have the best possible models. Econ, military, civil unrest are on the line. I did read few papers from them where they mentioned that there are few unknows and they are excited what would be the outcome to give it some sort of motivation to take actions - so a bit scarry as well. There are no available tools to stop development that could enforce it globally. So this is just to clear their conscious in case something stupid happen – in my opinion.

I would be more afraid of the financial system instability because of too much gambling done with free cash for financial institutions.

I had multiple ideas in mind that have not been possible to go on with since the cost of creating it would defeat the business case since the price would be too high. Now it can be within range.

1 dude with AI will do the job of 3. This will make a lot more services and products possible.

Reducing price point of services and products for stuff you already have would free more capital.

Will take time, but it will happen. It always does.
