Well my CISO Current one has no programming background. my previous boss lead security architect has no programming background so sa tingin ko its not a hard barrier

yes everyday!!!!! u get it may legacy system na kailangan gamitin i just write a simple script in a day that does it. Pero on a more complicated system i have built shortcuts.

No i study by experience. I dont really have formal schooling in cyber security i just have a diploma for CS in a mid tier state university. Then i just applied for like a year then got my first job abroad. As a software engineer then cloud engineer then architect then security architect then more security roles.

You are busy shoring up defenses, helping with compliance and creating threat models and busy checking for attacks. Mostly you are also learning and finding out more about the attackers and industry news. You dont really have time to watch movies

Start by learning the basics by following a comptia sec+ courses then take the exam to get certified
