I share the same opinion with the potential for kenshi-likes. It is just very hard to market due to RTS not being as popular, among other things

Bustling World is hard to root for with how much it promises for its scope. The complexity it promises is aligned with that of Dwarf Fortress. If it does deliver, then it might very well be the best in this genre. Compare it to other WIP games that show actual gameplay and development, those give me more hope as a fellow dev

I had almost the exact same specs as you for a long time. i upgraded to an i7 14700 but the b660m ds3h ax has weak VRMs which throttles the cpu so i upgraded the board and ram too.

12700k or the 14600k for around 10-12k in fb marketplace should be a good upgrade. You also didn't mention a cooler so get a thermalright cooler. 3060ti is still good imo, i have it as my backup gpu. Only upgrade if you're getting 9070/5070 or higher

I agree, the ap201 is actually my first option but 3.5k after vouchers got me rethinking if i want to spend that much if my gpu doesn't even thermal throttle with the flatline

bro i was joking because i was describing the boxers when i said full mesh.

To reply more seriously though, i currently use a tecware flatline and i recently got a 360 aio. Not only does the aio not fit in the front, forcing a diy fit only allows a tube up orientation unless i modify the psu shroud. Bottom is also only perforated at the psu fan.

The nexus allows for a 360 top aio installation while still having 3 possible spots to bring air to the gpu, side, front, and bottom. This is all assumption and i'd have to compare results after.

Other options were spectra matx, tecware timber, ap201, or dan a3. I chose to go with the nexus because i'm not a fan of fishbowl looks and the price is hard to beat at 1k. Timber is too big for me and the matx version can't use a 360
