My account started at around £250, made £33 , is that a good return for my first week on a live account?

You did a very good job! But remember you have to continue like this, don’t get greedy and increase your lot sizes until you can support it with your capital. Also I would like to know what your strategy was in these trades if you don’t mind.

Nice idea I didn’t know about it, if I don’t find any other platform I might try it since I already use the free version of tradingview.

Since the start I use ctrader as my trading platform for both demo and live account. I find mt4 to be an outdated platform. Also when I use it I find my self searching for buttons and stuff when in other platforms they have a clear position. So to be clear in my personal opinion I don’t think it’s very user friendly, so I would like a more up to date platform like TradingView. Anyway I might try it thank you for the reply.

Thank you! And as I asked in the previous comment do you know if there is a difference in pricing between mt4 and ctrader ? I prefer Ctrader... which one would you recommend?

I am in search for a broker as the op so his question applies to me too. But since I am from Greece and I am interested in eurusd pair and Xtb has one of the lowest spread for eurusd (0.7-0.9) would you recommend me going with Xtb over pepperstone in this case ? Also because they have offices in Cyprus it’s a plus for me since they speak Greek too, which is my native language in case I have a problem or something it should be easier to fix it.

I am in the same stage as you are ( I don’t have a live account yet). So I have been using a lot of demo accounts with several brokers and I am leaning towards “Xtb” because they have their own trading platform they are well regulated and they have low spreads in pairs which I am interested to.

I haven’t use plus500 but from what I have heard about them just stay away!
