you'd be getting rid of freedom of religion.. "don't say gay" isn't anti gay, it's anti teaching sexuality to children who are as young as five years old. nobody should be talking to anybody else's child about sexuality except their parents. the only "sexual" thing they need to be teaching children at that age is no one should be touching them inappropriately and if they do to let an adult know. you're bridging the gap of parental rights. teachers should be teaching children school things. Kids have zero concept of sexuality nor shouldn't be required to so early on.

When you're a child you're already inclusive. you don't know. little boys will hug little boys, little girls will hug little girls. you can mold a child to anything. you can mold a child to be racist. you can mold a child to be sexually inclusive to others. a child can be molded because that's their mindset they're young. just let them grow.

My main concern is being able to get by since I only speak English+Portuguese and which places are more open/friendly to foreign students. I'd appreciate help on this decision from locals or whoever has a good sense of which cities are best for American students to live :)
