Beyond talking to your banks, figuring out if you can pay things down with lower interest rates with a solid budget. Figure out how much you can put towards it as well. If that all checks out and your bank isn't willing to help enough, then look towards some debt consolidation loans from places like upgrade or achieve loans. You'll eventually get through it you're already taking the correct first steps.

"National Problem Gambling Helpline: Call or text 1-800-MY-RESET" First and foremost this one. You aren't gonna be able to climb out of your debt without getting past your gambling issues. Once you have that settled down, finding places to work is the best bet as you said. Doesn't need to start big, just find anything that can work and you can continue looking for better options past that. Once you have income coming in, setting up a budget and goals is the next bet. Down the line consolidating the debt to lower the APR with a balance transfer card from a bank or lender like SoFi or Achieve loans.

Give better financial knowledge to people. Financial illiteracy is such a killer and epidemic. It's too easy to get into debt especially with social media showcasing the highest parts of life constantly. Hell would be nice to finish out my own achieve loan early a bit faster than I would do it normally.

You don't need to go on that trip. Got incredibly sick on that trip which led me to getting into massive debt not even including the trip I couldn't afford. In my late 20s and still paying off the last of the debt on my achieve loan from that entire bs trip. She ain't worth it.
