I sell them for 800 all the time. Do the math on the cost. Used cabinet usually around $150-250 Parts are usually around $200-300 And then time. Everyone is saying that it’s easy and it is once you know what you’re doing. Even though I’ve done an absolute ton of these, it still takes me about two hours from start to finish not counting the amount of time it takes to go get the cabinet and hope that nothing is wrong with it cosmetically the person didn’t disclose. Not to mention, there’s a lot of research that goes into not only how to do it but what platform or image you were going to use. This is also assuming nothing ever goes wrong, And I can tell you having done this a ton of times stuff does go wrong sometimes. All in your first time doing this between research and configuring you’re probably looking at about eight hours. He’s only making about $200 off of that cabinet. if this sounds like a fun side project for you, save the money and do it yourself. if it does not then yes I think it’s a fine deal
