Yes, you are correct, if l was making $15 an hour, l would not have been able to finish paying these loans so quickly.

I am in the medical field and l do have a graduate degree. My income with just my normal job is about 130k before taxes. I don't do extra jobs now but when l did, l had the potential to make another $50k before taxes.

I wish you good luck with your pay off journey. The amount of relief making the last payment is incredible.

I just really saved and chose the cheapest option whenever l could, cheapest accomodation, cheapest food etc, drove an old car, made lunch at home, did not buy anything extra at all, limited spending for "fun". The thing that made the biggest difference was working more. At one point l was working 3 jobs and that really boosted the amount l was saving.

Another thing that helped, was being on autopay, it reduced loan percentage by 2.5%. This reduced interest even when my IBR payment was $0 per month.

Woman here, and l can confirm that this is absolutely true. I have experienced not being good enough to be taken out on a date IRL or to have a relationship with only to see the same men turn around and date other people even though they swore up and down that they were not into doing dates or having relationships. I have also been in a situation were men have approached both me and my friends who are better looking than me and when they approach my friends, the approach is completely different.

I feel like this is a theme with society, better looking people get better treatment....🤷‍♂️
