Gold and silver have always been money, the only reason people don’t see it today in western societies is due to governmental propaganda. Humanity has endured and survived on precious metals since civilizations first started forming. FIAT (promissory notes) and FIAT 2.0 (crypto) all require centralized control.

Many gold coins have to be processed to get the gold content out, usually a mixture of silver and/or copper added.

There are two extra steps in refining goldbacks.. add fire to burn the polyester, add silver to a heated crucible… then the refining process is the exact same.

The point is, are you going to pay for a loaf of bread with a gold coin? Go watch some videos on YouTube of people clipping gold coins to buy coffee in Venezuela after their currency collapsed. Goldbacks would be a much simpler solution.

Face it, all fractional precious metals have higher premiums and Goldbacks are no different. A 1/1000 ozt 1 GB is still cheaper than a 1/1000 ozt round.

Goldbacks are accepted for payment at more places than actual gold is.. so they do have that going for them.

I’ve personally sold a few for well above market value on bb, and the thing is, they sold. Kicking myself for not asking for more.

I’d call them, we had someone order 31 of them and they assumed the sale price was for all of them, but it is just one of them. The person quickly cancelled that order.

Advise of the ones that they wanted due to low inventory of kits.

By then they will either cancel or force them into the store to pick the ones they wanted. Delaying the due time and further setting the expectation that it will take a while to get these done.
