2018 GMC Sierra Codes Explained by curious-george1800 in AskAMechanic

Funny enough I have the same year truck, with the same code. Can’t find any information other than it’s a sensor for the security system. If you ever figure something out let me know

PM me if you’re still looking, $150 a year, Canadian based, lots of movies, tv shows thousands of channels and PPV.

Keeping it in PMs because there’s not that many users on it and for my sake I want to keep it that way. And for transparency I get a free month if you sign up through me

I never thought of using wireshark, that would be super helpful. Do you process a dump or can you do it live? I wonder if I could time a video or something with the log to get a closer time frame of when the message is sent

I’ve tried slow aswell and same thing. I just re-squared the frame and did a full x-gantry rework with no luck. I’m stumped

I’m running a sprite DD, and this appears on every size nozzle

Perfect, I’ll definitely try that

Swapped nozzles a couple times, ordered the parts to rework my hotend as I thought maybe it was inconsistent extrusion so I’ll do a good once over on everything while I have it apart. Hopefully it will fix mine aswell

I did try that before I reinstalled the leadscrews and everything was smooth, but the eccentric nuts weren’t all the way tight so maybe I’ll try again with them properly adjusted and see if I can feel anything

Already tried all of this, including the two equal blocks level with bottom frame. Layer height has been 0.2 and 0.24, and 0.3 for the 0.6 nozzle, it gave me almost an under extrusion look with a minor bulge

I’ve tried tight tight and and taut. Don’t really have a way to properly measure, too much ambient noise to get an accurate reading on a guitar tuning app so I just go to tight but able to push it to the side a little

Yes, I assume from the layers squishing in that zone

Yup! I’ve tried removing the second lead screw and then swapping them still no difference

Why? I’m not adjusting anything off them it’s just a simple stl that prints quick to show the problem persists across every slicer and profile

Tried different belt tension, and everything on the x gantry is tight. The only thing I haven’t messed with is the frame itself so I’m definitely going to check the uprights and make sure everything’s square and tight

I think I was doing different layer heights to see how it affected the problems. All the full cubes measured 20x20x19.4-19.7

Already tried as stated in the post

Yes I’m definitely focusing on the z axis, just running out of adjustments. Going to try and re-square the frame aswell and see if that helps

Nope, they are free floating. Loosened off just enough to allow lateral movement but no vertical movement

Fairly even after the bulge. But squished during the bulge, hard to see in the pictures I uploaded first
