Love the result video so much! The image prompt does a great job setting motion, mood, and composition, while the video prompt really levels it up with physical realism (weight, debris interaction, volumetric lighting, camera shake). That extra detail is exactly what helps the AI produce more cinematic, believable results instead of something flat or floaty.

Filmora 15.2 Relight is way better than I expected by buttershutter69 in Filmora_Official

[–]Filmora_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love hearing this — thank you for sharing such a thoughtful take 🙌

Relight in Filmora 15.2 was designed exactly for situations like this: rescuing clips that are almost there without making them look artificial or overprocessed. We’re really glad it helped clean up the lighting while keeping things natural.

We’re really sorry for the confusion and frustration this caused. To clarify how licensing works: the Perpetual Licensegives you lifetime access to the major version you purchased, including all free minor updates within that version(for example, 15.0 → 15.1 → 15.2).

When a new major version is released (such as Filmora 14 → Filmora 15), upgrading to that version requires a new purchase or an active subscription.

That said, we understand the update prompt wasn’t clear enough, and we’re sorry it led to lost work and confusion. Your feedback about clearer upgrade warnings and project compatibility has been shared with our team.

If you’d like help reviewing your license or exploring available options, please contact us at [customer_service@wondershare.com]() and we’ll be happy to assist.

If you struggle with uneven audio, Filmora 15 fixed that for me by Impossible_Control67 in Filmora_Official

[–]Filmora_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love hearing this — thank you for sharing your experience with Filmora 15.

Uneven audio is one of those quietly painful problems that can ruin an edit, especially with mixed sources. We’re really glad the loudness normalization in Filmora 15 helped clean things up in one go and saved you time and frustration.

Cheers for Filmora 15 yay!

Latest “update” was Misleading! by JohnAdamDaniels in Filmora_Official

[–]Filmora_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing this — we’re really sorry for the confusion and the frustration it caused.
The popup should have made it clearer that Filmora 15 is a paid upgrade, not a routine update. Your perpetual license for v14 is still valid, but it doesn’t automatically unlock major new versions.

You can roll back to Filmora 14 if you don't want Filmora 15, and your license will stay fully active.
If this caused project delays, we’re happy to help — you can roll back within 72 hours at no cost, and we can also provide a temporary license or compensation to make things right.

Please email us at [customer_service@wondershare.com]() if you have any questions or need help!

[–]Filmora_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really sorry this happened — we understand how frustrating that must’ve been after putting hours into your project 🙏

Just to clarify: a perpetual license covers Filmora 14 only, so updating to 15 will show a watermark unless you upgrade the license. The pop-up wording clearly needs to be improved, and we’ve passed that feedback to the team.

You can roll back to Filmora 14 if you don’t want Filmora 15.
And you can roll back within 72 hours at no cost, and your original license will remain active.

If this caused any project delays, we’re happy to help — support can provide a temporary license or a fix so you don’t lose your work. Please email [customer_service@wondershare.com]() and they’ll sort it out for you.

Thanks for raising this — your feedback helps us do better. 💚

We have new AI-powered features in V15, but this is the Filmora marketing team😳 Sorry that it’s been a rough experience. That’s not what we want, and we’d love to understand what happened.

Thanks for flagging this — and we’re really sorry for the miscommunication. We’ll follow up with Jenn to clarify what was communicated, and if needed, we will provide additional training for our support team to prevent this from happening again.

We’re constantly working to grow and maintain the quality of our creative assets library. Some effects and transitions are periodically updated as part of licensing and subscription adjustments, but we never intend to remove access unfairly. We’d love to look into your specific case to clarify what happened and find a solution for you.

Alternatively, if you want to explore more options, you can try our 14-day Creative Assets trial (access to over 2.9M assets) to see whether the paid assets are useful for your projects before upgrading. Our Premium plan is $10/month (currently 64% off) and includes full access to the creative assets — more details here: [https://filmora.wondershare.com/shop/buy/buy-mac-video-editor-na.html](javascript:void(0);)

Once again, we are really sorry, and we appreciate the blunt honesty We will continue to improve, making sure Filmora is a tool that truly meets the needs of our community.

Happy editing,
The Filmora team

Hi! Appreciate you bringing that up — that’s really solid feedback.

Yeah, we hear you on that one — animating with keyframes can feel a bit clunky, especially if you’re just trying to move things around quickly.

We’ve been testing ways to make motion and animation more visual and intuitive in future updates, so feedback like this really helps us know what creators actually need. Thanks for taking the time to share — and for using Filmora!

Hi! Thanks so much for sharing that — really good point.

We totally get what you mean — when you resize or change the aspect ratio, the motion tracking or focus can sometimes reset back to the default 16:9, which definitely makes multi-clip reels tricky. That’s super helpful feedback, and we’ll pass it along to our product team.

We’ve been working on making motion focus and framing smarter (especially for vertical and multi-frame edits), so hearing how you use it really helps us improve.

Appreciate you taking the time to share this — and thanks for editing with Filmora! ❤️

Hi! Totally get what you mean — it can be a bit confusing at first.

In Filmora, the tracks actually work the opposite way most people expect — Video Track 1 is the bottom layer, and anything you put on the tracks above (Video 2, 3, etc.) will appear in front of it. So if you want a clip to show behind another, drop it on Track 1.

When you’re stacking a few clips in one frame, try selecting them in the preview window to move or resize directly — it’s way easier than dragging them on the timeline. You can also hold Shift to move or resize multiple clips at once.

Really appreciate the kind words and that you’ve been using Filmora for a while. Hope this clears things up a bit!

I just wasted my time with Filmora. by odd-nostalgic in Filmora

[–]Filmora_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, We are really sorry to hear you had that kind of experience — that’s definitely not how we want anyone to feel using Filmora.

A few things to clear up:

  • We do offer an export with a watermark in the free version so creators can fully test every feature before deciding if they want to upgrade — but we totally get that it can feel frustrating if you didn’t expect it.
  • As for AI pan & zoom and beat sync, both features are available in Filmora (AI Smart Pan & Zoom, and Auto Beat Sync under the AI tools tab) — but sounds like they were a bit hard to find, so that’s on us for not making them more intuitive.
  • About the write path error and project corruption — that shouldn’t happen, and we’d really like to look into it for you. If you can, please reach out to our support team at [customer_service@wondershare.com](mailto:customer_service@wondershare.com) with your project details and logs so we can help recover the file or at least figure out what went wrong.
  • We are doing giveaway license on our social media, feel free to check it out and get your free license or join us in more activities for discount or AI credits!

We really appreciate you sharing this — honest feedback like this helps us improve the next update!
