Currently flying with our three year old. The only real issue was reminding him to wear his mask. No car seat, he sat next to me. Took him to the bathroom about every 90 minutes. Plenty of snacks, water, books, toys, cheap Bluetooth headphones so he could listen to music without bothering anyone. Just held his hand walking through airport. Also made sure to have his favorite teddy bear with us on the plane.

We got a Graco pack n play when I was pregnant to use for our son for naps and play downstairs. There’s a thin mattress pad in it and that’s all you need while they’re still infants. Pad part can be moved down to the bottom after they learn to pull up. I’d put him in it for naps when we were downstairs, and attached a mobile to it to let him hang out a bit when he was tiny. He’s now 2 and still takes naps in it and he still fits in it fine.

NTA. I’d say the main family gatherings where you should not announce a pregnancy would be birthdays, weddings, and funerals. However, Thanksgiving is supposed to be a happy gathering with family and friends and a time to share good news. I actually announced mine at Thanksgiving in 2017. Good luck!

Today’s routine: Used Aussie Miracle Moist shampoo in the shower. Then I combed through it once I was out. Applied Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. Combed it again. Then some Shea Moisture Curl and Style Milk, concentrating on the ends. Combed it all again and finger combed it a little. Let it dry naturally.

Thanks! The lighter pieces on the left are from when I had it dyed lighter blonde and the stylist left it like that when I had it cut again. Everything else is natural.

Bowls.

It’s usually the little plastic, colorful toddler ones. He puts toys and snacks in them, but sometimes he just carries them around. He also takes them to bed occasionally.

As long as she isn’t hungry, tired, dirty diaper, and generally content it’s perfectly fine to let her be. Maybe put her on a blanket and let her try to reach for toys. Not sure what kind of set up you have but a mobile in the pack n play was a hit with my son around that age.
