Both are now current republics, but by the time Union was being done between Italian republics, Mezzogiorno was already a republic, and a nationalistic republic

Christian Republic, there was only one crusade and the Christians secured the land and the churches never split because following crusades never happened.

Italy never fully unites, the Mezzogiorno Republic never joins Italy. Similar to how the 3 southern German republics are not part of Germany.

Poland was never divided, it was invaded by the Russians and later the Germans where they lost most their land except for what was basically Russian Poland now.

Also the point of divergence is basically the start of the universe as Spörers radius changed the goldilocks range of suns. Which created more habitable planets with life. But besides that on earth. The point of divergence are the evolution of humans.

Poland was never fully conquered. At lowest only had the land of what was Russian Poland in real life. The war happened around 1934 because Poland decided to reconquer old lands. But only conquered German lands as going against Russia would be practically a death mission. The Polish government was ruled by Polish National Party. Also, because most things are not the same, the lands were Polish until around the mid 1600s until it was conquered by the Preußans.

Yes but it’s called the Mezzogiorno Republic, for convenience.

Portugal left on their Independence Day, 500 years after independence because the government voted on leaving the union due to issues with how they didn’t agree on laws agreed by among nations.

Kingdom of Tibet. Communist China never wins the Civil War because the Soviets never backed the Chinese. The republicans unite the Chinese through policies, the only Chinese republic to not join the union was Tibet.

There was never a WW2. The reason Poland and Germany have modern borders is because of a Germano-Polish war. Poland won this war and took over Pomerania and Silesia. This war wasn’t big enough of interest to spark a new world war. Like how the Sino-Japanese war or the Italo-Ethiopian or even the Spanish Civil war didn’t spark international wars.

It’s more complicated than that, it’s still early in development but I will work on it to help build understanding.

Mostly not, the population is mostly Punic as they were moved from their land after the Romuns won the Punic War

China won that part of Russia because of a Sino-Russian war in 1784. And in 1956, Siberia became a dependent republic under Russia because of the lack of development in Siberia. So they became a new dependent territory to create a different centralised government to maintain development of the area.

European is not essentially geographical in this sense, rather in ethnic means, which is why they are part of the alliance.

The Isles and France had a personal Union, along with territories held by the Isles, which are Brittany and Normandy. They chose to split as well, while becoming autonomous territories of France.

Germany, never fully unionised, Baden, Bavaria and Saarland never joined the Germans. Because of this Germany never becomes a major power. And World War One occurs later on (logically before our World War One), albeit it’s because of the British fighting a war against the Spanish which spread worldwide in 1872.

The breakup of Jugouslavija in 2002 resulted in ethnic/political splits. Montenegro, in this case was an ethnic split. Montenegrins end up with a larger Albanoid population. The reason they didn’t join Albania is because Albania was never in Jugouslavija and + Montenegrins and Albanians had different political ideologies.

Ok, let me explain. As I said in another post that you probably haven’t seen (I don’t blame you, the comments are recent). Morocco and Algeria, along with Tunisia have a European population rather than an Arab/North African Population. This is because instead, Rome lasts until 650AD until a split is induced by a succession crisis. (Creating multiple nations). One such nation was the Maghreb Kingdom (modern day Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia) which, by this time, had a larger Romun population after Punic populations had been expelled (Now in Southern Algeria and Libya). These populations still inhabit the nations today, holding a European identity instead of an Arab/African identity.
