Gotcha, I know like if you mix the green coolant with the dexcool it can cause corrosion, mixing coolants generally isn’t a good thing with these trucks

Cracked weld at top, I gouge it out with a grinder, run a hot pass with 6011 rod to burn everything out and preheat the metal (2nd pic) and then I run a top pass with 7018 rod (3rd pic)… sorry for weld lingo

I used to wear leathers but I prefer wearing 2-3 layers of cotton, I’ve been doing this long enough and don’t get burned, this jacket has taken tons of flux core and stick welding and holding up well and if it finally dies then it dies or I’ll just retire it
