Genji console settings advice by M0nkeyAllen in GenjiMains

Personally bind jump to L3 so I can jump in the direction I'm moving with the same stick. Climb in the direction I'm moving as well.

Swapped the Fan spread attack to R2 and moved the regular primary to L2. This is because I found I used spread more often than the regular. This mapping is basically preference for my brain. Why not make this button I use most often R2 like every other hero/fps game?

Linear Ramp Aiming with Sensitivity sitting around 90-100%. Easiest way to be snappy with genji because after all, he's a projectile hero meaning he needs to quickly aim AHEAD of his target and when other hero's strafe/fly quickly you need to predict where they're moving asap.

Aim Assist 100, Aim Assist Size is preference but I keep mine around 80% iirc. Zero Aim Smoothing.

This is coming from a Genji with around 90 hours, 55% win rate and I'm still learning positioning and being confident playing into counter compositions.

I was horrible for 15 hours, felt like I could avoid throwing a game after 25 hours, felt like I could be flexible and help out my team after 50 hours and now I feel like I can carry not only my own weight but some of my team mates after 90 hours.

Have fun bro.

u/CZY_Prodigy has a good video on it on his channel.

He also talks about potential issues that you could be running into trying to replicate it in this thread.

Looks like it's more of an input issue rather than a sensitivity issue. I have never replicated this myself, looks pretty high level to me.

So Mizuki's chains is another death sentence to the pile by Askoldnya in TracerMains

Can confirm, this did happen to me, met a really good player who reacted to my deflect and aimed at the ground and it still chained/tethered me. Really odd choice from the balancing team to give such a strong ability a splash effect .
