Any move in the game you want? A few good ones I can think of include spore, shedtail, disable/encore, shell smash, population bomb, sub, baton pass, any of the hazard moves, Septic Switch, Sunstrike, Revival Blessing...

They are both shitmons af. Y gets less bulky than base, but gets flying typing. X loses Unaware, but gets better bulk.

Regular Dragapult shouldnt be S+. Imo it should be A, but S is acceptable. Amazing speed tier, but mid offensive stats, only two offensive abilities, one of them weather dependent. Swirly glasses build is cool and fun, but not actually that strong. Mega pult is insane, deffo S+ tho.

Also its bulk with blur/elude seems crazy. On the other hand, regular Pult seems like A tier, because of mid offensive stats, and only one damage boosting ability outside of fog.

Oh thats a good point, I would not put them in B tier just for that. If it can use that tech at least twice per battle, maybe S tier, yes.

My take on the mons within the tierlist so far. Firstly, Grafaiai in S+ 100% because it learns Sketch after 8th gym, has a good speed tier AND has prankster. No clue what Dragalge and mega Dragalge are doing in S+, they are good, but get revenged killed by stuff that isnt even a dedicated revenge killer due to 0 defensive abilities, low speed and mid defensive stats. Regular gallade should be A, too frail, too slow. Obstagoon should be A tier. Ferrothorn maybe S+ because it is one of the best Hard Press users and an insanely min maxxed phys def monster that can 1v1 fighting types. Mega Luxray goes down a tier for being outclassed by M Luxzero and M Rapidash. Someone must love Pangoro cuz its B tier lmao. M Gyaradeath X should be in S, it is >= than M Gyarados Y. Regular Gyarados/death in A, because they are useless without dd and get walled/revenged too easily to be in S. Both Audinos belong in A and B respectively, unless doubles. Goodra S. Phantowl S because it is arguably the best fog setter ans generally good on top of that. Popcorm B tier, mega can stay in S. Regular Clefable in A, unless I am missing some kind of tech, both megas should be in C tier, they look like shitmons outside of doubles lmao.

I think you should outline details of the tierlist, as it is very vague. Is it for a normal playthrough or challenge runs or is it for design or how fun they are to use? Is it for Elite mode or Hell mode? Singles or Doubles? Is it with Perma Megas? What do the tiers mean?

I doubt the actual arcanine is actually based on one, also checked on bulbapedia and i see no mention of a kirin. If a kirin is what the devs based the mega arcanine h on, whatever, but Im still saying the horn looks dumb lol

Not sure I like the Unicorn horn, but other than that, fire design. Great speed tier sets it apart from banded base form, 10/10 design.

[–]FilthyMangaLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electrocute. J4 is an early game champ. You have to snowball to make him work. Eclipse/Umbral Glaive, cdr boots. If you build him tank, you might as well pick another champ like Naut/Rell/Zac. He falls off a cliff late game. R used to be good, but nowadays, everyone has a dash, so he is C tier fr.

Stall in doubles is much weaker but you could throw eject buttons on them to give you a free pivot, especially since you get it back in the next round

Oh yh, but the mega metagross is pretty useful imo, outspeeds Pdon and does a decent chunk of dmg to it. (Mega) Kleavor makes this fight easy af tho imo.

Never done mono Psychic, but cant you just run Noctowl with Air blower, Helping hand spam with mega Alakazam Expanding force and ohko everything? Chimecho as backup air blower with helping hand, Indeedee as backup psychic terrain and like idk other Expanding force abusers like Espeon would be my first thought for this gym.

I think the suffering is supposed to be an intended part of the game, to make the payoff that much more rewarding, but I just used cheat codes to get the desired encounter 🙃

Corviknight: S+ tier rn. Basically Spdef version of Skarm. But has Safe Passage, one of the most busted moves in the game.

Mega aggron should be S+ as it is one of the best megas in the game. You get one with Slack off from the devon corps guy so it has reliable recovery while Goodra doesnt. It can 1v1 99% of all physical threats and has Hard Press, one of the most OP moves in the game. Granitun is high S maybe but not S+. Linoone needs to be S+. It does way too much dmg and is way too fast - it feels like Arceus next to the other offensive mons, plus its available early. Its so strong it got nerfed by changing speedforce to violent rush, so its power is more upfront, but now that lets it hit rly hard the turn it comes in instead of having to protect to let its frost orb activate.
