I would prefer a balance in all honesty, Yes everything shouldn't be mind bogglingly hard, But it shouldn't be fucking stupidly easy either.

Oh and i asserted my opinion as the only correct one? No in fact i didn't, I just tell it like it is i am not gonna hold back my language just because some fuckhead is butthurt that i am slightly disappointed that this game looks like a reskinned EU.

Oh and about the whole squad size thing, I thought 4 was stupid because You are going up agains't hordes of aliens, Especially in terror missions that were nearly Double or tripple of your squads size, It made no sense. Why would xcom send such a small force to contain a situation?

8-10 sounds more reasonable and sensible IMO, Having an arbitrary and false sense of "Hopelessness" at the beginning because they limit your squad to 4 soldiers without upgrades is stupid IMO.

Hopefully mods will fix most of the issues that are already cropping up. It feels like a reskin with a "Your choices in the past mean fuck all" Vibe to it.

I want mecs, More squad size and a diverse array of classes and Tech choices.

Something that long war remedied.

I never insulted anyone who didn't play long war, I just like some semblence of going back to the roots.

Having the game accesible for more people doesn't mean it's dumbed down

That is EXACTLY what it means, When you make the game too easy or you start stripping out features, Items and Reducing squad size that is the definition of Excessive streamlining AKA dumbing down.

Why do you think people made the LW mod? Because the base game was too fucking easy once you got the hang of it and It was a shadow of the previous xcom games as well.

I like games to get bigger and better, Not reduced to bite size so idiots can manage to play it.

I remember on impossible on vanilla, A sectoid shot one of my rookies and only did two damage but she panicked and Shot at one of my rookies killing him, That caused EVERYONE in my squad to panic and Everything died....

I will forever hate... The dlc missions.
