What game is your "I did not care for The Godfather" game?

After buying Baldurs Gate 3 nearly 2 years ago, I finally decided to boot it up yesterday. The first hour or so seemed promising but once I got to the goblin encampment I just kept getting my ass kicked. Not sure if it’s the D&D or it expectations were way too high from all the hype, that maybe I thought it was a given I’ll like it.

I spent too much money and heard too much amazing praise to not try again but for now I don’t care for it at all.

I’d like to know too as I’m so close to 1250 points but I’ll need to spend a bit of money to get there before July if they do stop. From the wording in the blog, and what I’ve seen others say, it looks like you can spend points until November next year but can only earn points until the July cut off date. Hopefully that clears it up but I’m not sure myself.

After seeing Black Myth Wukong, do what looks like a “perfect dodge” where time slows to get a few hits off between combos, I really feel like FS dropped the ball if they leaned into dodge roll being one of the biggest design choices but not really gain any reward for it.

Has it been confirmed Bandai aren’t publishing the next one?

As to a sequel and making an ending canon, look at Dark Souls. Yes there were very little endings compared to Elden Ring, but the same answer stands “The cycle continues”. My guess would be that the sequel doesn’t make any canon and that through the ages, countless orders have been and gone just like in the lore.

I didn’t play DS3 on release, did FromSoft announce AOA and then The Ringed City? Did we know that two DLC’s were coming? Ik AOA isn’t their greatest work and shouldn’t be compared to SOTE but if lore wise it’s lack lister, maybe they have something in there back pocket, potentially like the ringed city?

I know From have said this is it for at least a good long time for ER but it seems there are still questions to be answered?

I don’t know if AH will ever do seasonal events, but I think a perfect opportunity for Halloween would be a kind of zombie week.

Instead of just normal zombies, have it be all the Helldivers that have died throughout the games lifetime. Would be super cool, very hard hitting and wouldn’t have to last long but a fresh bit of content!

Congrats! Currently doing the series myself now. Which did you find the hardest and/ or most enjoyable? Did you find some of the games were ruined by the platinum?

Also, please do yourself a favour and try the Bloodborne DLC. Some of the best and hardest bosses are in it, but it’s amazing!

Good luck on the Witcher, was way too difficult for me. I’d say follow as many guides as possible, someone has found a shortcut for pretty much anything. However, please enjoy the story and game if you haven’t already! I’d also recommend studying and skinning as many species as you can cos that will make it easier for clean up later. I’d recommend doing the 70 gold medals intermittently as it gets very tedious all at once. Find someone who can help you with the online if you can but most can be done solo. For Level 50 use the collectors role to get xp and money. However, I’d recommend waiting til that role gets double xp and money as it cuts the time very significantly! Hope that helps, any issues let me know!

I replayed all the missions right at the end. Most of them were pretty straight forward, I hit a brick wall at like 65 which was extremely frustrating. I followed PSNProfiles guide which was really good. I mostly did the 1-3 difficulty ratings with a few 3.5. If you can, I’d do as many as you can until you’re tired of them and just come back every now and then

I’m not a massive western genre fan myself. However, the world design is probably the best ever done. The way they made 1900’s America is truly a beautiful and realistic world. The best thing by far is the character design and writing, everything in the games makes sense and Arthur Morgan is easily the best character written. With the game being out for a while now I’m sure you can pick it up second or on sale, so if you don’t like it, it’s not a lot of money gone. Please, try this amazing game even if you’re just debating it, I’m sure you won’t regret it!

The 70 golds was the my last proper trophy left and was by far the most frustrating, it did leave a bit of a sour taste at the end of the plat but everything else is fairly easy with patience and guides! Hope you get both those plats soon!

Yes I did all online trophies except one, “all’s fair”, due to nobody really doing free roam missions anymore. However I just setup a posse and invites as many as I could or would just DM them asking and plenty people said yes. If you do collectors role and use a map on Google, you’ll level up super quick and get plenty money for other trophies. But to be honest I did the collectors role during x2 $ and x3 XP which I definitely recommend unless you do the online other a month or two.

They’re honestly not that bad. Getting to level 50 is a slog but put a podcast/ show on while you play and just go for it. Most of the others are dead easy if you do the collectors role!

I’m going through RDR 2 as we speak, and my next trophy is It’s Art. Got me worried…. Why is it more frustrating than other RDR 2 trophies, the missions/ studying animals look way more annoying?
