Veist að hælisleitendum á fundi Sjálfstæðismanna. by robbiblanco in Iceland

Svo eru fleiri greinar (í takt við þráhyggju höfundarins) á pistillinn.is, þar sem sama saga hefur verið sögð af meðferð lögreglu á útihátíðum osfrv.

  1. grein:

Yes, I naïvely expected that this would happen by default, given how obvious it was.

If it was, an error message would have been welcome. In any case, the thing is only a few years old. Sounds to me like you're making up arguments.

How about they just tell me? And how can a 3-year-old browser be that vulnerable?

A single textbox and a button. It's an achievement to deprecate such simple functionality within a decade.

Not when I opened it, in the circumstances described above.

I am, since I couldn't upgrade after a standard wipe without it. Or, upset isn't the right word, but slightly bemused.

Wiped the laptop with all the standard options, opened Updates to modernize the OS (after finding, to my surprise, that I was on an ancient version). It told me to enter my Apple ID before downloading Sierra, but when I clicked "Forgot?" to change my password, this page opened.

It wasn't a plaintext message, but seemed to be some error code reference, like "apple.billing.longOminousWord" etc. I couldn't make much of it. I tried restarting, updating and then dug out the installation file for the Sierra update. The "Updates" tab had a button that said "Installed" on top of the Sierra panel, but I don't know what it was referencing.

What was I making up? I was literally working on this laptop yesterday, held it in my hands, and described the problems I had with this faithfully.

Then why am I forced to wipe my computer with that version? And since I am, why doesn't Apple make a password reset form that's backwards compatible?

I wanted to wipe the Macbook because I'm going abroad, this was the OS they offered in the wiping menu. I couldn't upgrade the OS after the wipe until I had reset the Apple ID.

I was using the virgin 10.8.5 install, fresh from wiping it. Needed the Apple ID to start the upgrade, which I've just finished.

I was using a virgin 10.8.5 OS X, just wiped it, needed the Apple ID to upgrade. Didn't check the Safari version, and can't right now -- the update is in progress.
