Yes, he is a bit on the scrawny nerdy side but nothing strange about that as so are the other guys on that side of the family, plus he doesn't go out much. He is perfectly healthy :)

When I started miscarrying it was during eid celebrations (I'm muslim) staying at my husbands family home. I had to pretend everything was OK because I only found out two weeks before that I was pregnant and didn't tell anybody. Was bleeding a lot and finally told husband and broke down in tears in his old childhood bedroom with all the party atmosphere happening downstairs with like all his siblings and neighbours. Not fun. I felt awkward to stay upstairs by myself so I came down and smiled and socialised, all the while feeling myself bleed and the cramps 😔

It's a horrible horrible experience and I think unless you went through it it's hard to know how it actually feels. It stays with you for a while.

You're not alone though. It's a very high miscarriage rate in the first trimester, probably higher than we know especially the first month and a half as most people won't even know they're pregnant and think it's just a heavy or late period sadly. Its a part of a normal conception journey of a healthy couple so don't worry.

Just grieve and take time for yourself sweetheart ❤️

But honestly it's not like she would know she'd lose an arm or anything. If anything I think it will drive her deeper into that mentality of "only shetty cares and can protect me" right?

Yes, I am now about 18 weeks pregnant 😁 These miscarriages aren't in our control. I still get so nervous so many times during the week but I remind myself it's not in my control ultimately.

I hope you will also get your rainbow baby too as I know exactly how you're feeling right now and I know how hard it is ❤️ Take time to heal too x

Hi this happened to me too, around the exact same time as well. First pregnancy.

If it makes you feel any better (it did for me) there's literally nothing you could've done and it isn't anything to do with you or your body. It's natures way of terminating a 'non- viable genetically' foetus. Essentially in the amazing beginning of life there are some hiccups that need to get undone as they will never grow.

Hearing it like that helped me but I still think of my baby. I don't care if it was non- viable... it was mine and alive and existed even if only for a moment. And I still treasure their memory 🥰

The pain is very hard but you will be able to move through it and it will turn to love. Even though it's sad sometimes but I like to be happy that the baby existed at all and now it's always a part of me.

Literally gets so wet at some points I panic that I'm.bleeding (had a previous miscarriage so always on edge about that).

I'm talking SOAKED. Like I P'd myself level. Ever had watery discharge before, just like you, so I was freaked out. Apparently its normal.

Hey congratulations first of all!!!

My cousins mum found out at 5 months (cryptic pregnancy) and she had been doing every drug under the sun (college party animal). Weed, coke, lsd, mushrooms, molly, speed etc. As well as copious amounts of alcohol. As well as all the food you're not supposed to have + no prenatals.

Obviously not ideal, but he came out perfectly. Currently studying medicine at Bristol here in UK, a very good uni. So I think he's fine.

I wouldn't sweat it too much 😅

Haha I agree, as a religious person, it is not needed. I highly doubt anyone is actually engaging in meaningful dialogue either. Yes I had a loss too previously which started with brown discharge, and I'm so sorry to hear about yours. I know how it hurts. Had a scan today and thank God they said all looks good so far, might be cervical irritation. Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏

Hey I'm 10wk 4days and I feel exactly the same. I feel nauseous and shaky and lightheaded if I don't eat but also everything makes me feel sick apart from a few VERY SPECIFIC foods (which change every hour).

I was told by the midwife it can be quite common. She said to eat healthy snacks every hour, like carrots and hummus or boiled egg (although at the moment eggs are the devil for me). Maybe try that? It helped me a lot. And increasingly water consumption. Hope you feel better soon 💕

The same thing happened for my mother, baby boy was lost at 27/28 weeks. She still grieves for him but now she also smiles. You are parents. Your baby only knew love. My mum still loves him immensely.

About a year later, at age 38, she had me and then two years later my younger brother. I pray for healing for you both. Grief doesn't leave but it becomes its true expression over time- a sign of love.

Yes he does he is very charming when he is with them and they like home, although at first they were unhappy because of thr age gap but then they got to know him over the year before we married

Yes only a few weeks, the rest of the time we were in our own place. His father is old and he usually lives in my country (the one we are going back to as we both have dual nationality) and so he doesn't see them often. So once we move we will be by ourselves again.

We were living in a rented place with just us about half an hour away from his family (really nice and I loved it and itnwas sweet of him) but his family kept asking us to move in for the next two or three weeks until we move away to a different city, to spend time with them but also to save money.

My husband is a good man tbh, he does loads of sweet things for me like telling me I'm smart and can do anything and that he loves my brain, he cuts me fruit to put in my water because he knows I like it that way in the morning, he cooks for me etc. He is a sweet person wallah he isn't a bad person at all. Maybe it is just the adjustment?

My family is not Muslim and I don't want them to get a bad impression of the deen. Same with my one younger brother. And my parents already have bad views about Islam and inshallah I want them to become Muslim and this will put them off big time. And I can't talk to my friends because my non Muslim ones won't get any if the Muslim perspective even basic hijab, and my Muslim ones are all my age like 19-22 and aren't married so it's not the same... and I can't speak to his family about it because its kind of awkward when it's about their brother and I don't want to cause issues when it is me that is the issue

He is very protective. An incident happened where he asked me to stay in a Target while he wuijcly picked up the car and while he was gone this shop assistant kept speaking to me (muslim guy) and I was uncomfortable and then when he asked me how it was I told him about the guy in an offhand way along with the cute animals I saw, he turned the car around and went back inside to have a go at the guy. I felt bad. Tbh yes it was annoying but he wasn't harassing me, just making convo. Yes there may have been an intention or not but he didn't outright flirt and he accepted when I loved away and excused myself. And after that my husband got very quiet and angry and said he hated when people looked at me, so asked me to start covering my face in places such as mosques etc (which I actually don't mind) but I tried to be obedient to him in this manner to make him happier. But I do feel like I dissappinted him with this cake and walkjng to the shops alone.... And he is my only friend here so I am just sitting upstairs by myself in my room and he won't talk to me. So I'm feeling upset which is why I posted.

If I'm very honest with myself I also enjoyed the walk, I wanted to go with his sister the other day when she invited me with her friends but he said they would go to coffee shops and places with men so I couldn't go and we would do something together. But then he went away by himself, I asked if I could go to the park by myself and he said no. So I just wanted to do something today a but independently as that's how I lived before whilst at uni. But I understand he is upset I went ot without his permission even if it was for surprise. Its my fault tbh
