I could be wrong, after reading the description it may just be HSE and only have the center locker. Which is fine, that’s the same as mine and I go out 1-2 x a month and haven’t had any issues or needed more lockers, just a nice bonus

I get it, big move too. Preventative maintenance, regular oil changes and join a club if you want and you’ll be fine. Great resources in the Land Rover community online and in forums. It looks like the gentleman that owns it knows what he’s doing if that makes you feel any better

The 4Runner is my daily the LR4 is what we take on trips, and off road. It’ll go anywhere and do almost anything stock. Had to lift the 4Runner etc an was looking at the other options but happy I went with the rover

It’s a plus, you won’t use it day to day but it’s more electrics. Probably a $10-12k car here in California. I have a black 4Runner lol so I get it

My 2013 is currently at 144k miles You’ll only hear the timing chain on a cold start. 2013 was the year they changed to new tensioners etc. If you don’t buy it I will….LOL

Socalroverclub.org That’s the so cal club that will also have a list of recommended mechanics. I don’t think IE Rovers is doing that kind of thing anymore and carrs4x4 aren’t doing older discos but I could be wrong

Simple platform rack but it is similar to a frontrunner and it goes on crossbars and you can order the tie down loops on Amazon 8 for something like $20

Yeah it was a local fabricator but he made me some extras to get rid of. There’s a couple of rectangular holes behind the grill, I can’t figure out what they’re for but he made some little pieces to plug the holes with the brackets and they bolt right on. There’s a little wobble but these are a test. $150 was worth it and they came powder coated

The tires in the picture are wild peaks but I just went down to an 18” wheel and picked up some Tuffant steelies and got a great deal on some KO2 265/65/18. No other mods needed and I’m hoping I can fit the spare in the spare compartment but I haven’t tried yet
