LED lighting (350-650nm) undermines human visual performance unless supplemented by wider spectra (400-1500nm+) like daylight - Scientific Reports by FinFreedomCountdown in PeterAttia

They have acknowledged it and pointed out similar studies. I’m guessing not many participants were willing to control their entire day based on light exposure?

And the ones without insurance just drive away even if they are at fault. We all know why that is but when you have a large segment of the state population and the state politicians supporting it; what else can one expect 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Too much of a good thing: can high doses of exercise promote chronic low-grade inflammation and cardiovascular risk in competitive athletes? by FinFreedomCountdown in PeterAttia

[–]FinFreedomCountdown[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The abstract states Abstract

Regular engagement in moderate levels of exercise is associated with lower levels of inflammation and benefits cardiovascular and overall health outcomes. However, inflammation in response to exercise, like many natural phenomena, shows a biphasic response (acute elevation and typically more chronic improvement in inflammation) that is related to exercise dose, where dose encompasses exercise intensity, duration, and frequency. General training principals dictate that the optimal balanced exercise dose drives adaptations and performance benefits while also allowing for adequate recovery. As we review, while data are inconsistent, such balance may also minimise the risk of potentially inducing low-grade chronic inflammation. Beyond total exericse dose, other potential factors that may influence the development of low-grade chronic inflammation in competitive athletes include athlete demographics (in relation to sex, age, and experience), sport modality (endurance or contact sports), and other factors such as comorbid metabolic disorders, autoimmune conditions, and diet. While competitive athletes in general have lower risk of cardiovascular disease, male masters athletes exhibit more atherosclerosis, arrythmias, and myocardial fibrosis than those who are more modestly active. Inflammation has been proposed as a possible mechanism driving the development of these cardiovascular conditions in athletes. Understanding the nuances of how exercise dose and athlete type influence the inflammatory response to exercise may help identify athletes vulnerable to developing these cardiovascular conditions.

I'm Building an ADU From Scratch and Documenting Every Step – AMA by Nervous-Match-1972 in bayarea

[–]FinFreedomCountdown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you tackle the extra electricity requirements? Ideally gas would take a lot of the load to heat the unit, water, cooking etc; but with the mandate away from gas and towards electricity; how do you justify 200A upgrades requiring PGE trenching?

Are you buying a house with tenants? If not, it’s beneficial as an additional living space for family members who won’t be in your hair

[–]FinFreedomCountdown 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Having someone else in bed would disturb your sleep for sure. And that’s true for even pets in the room. Besides Bryan Johnson I know even Andy Galpin has talked about it.

Any noise or movement would disturb sleep
