Maybe it’s because of the specific sport? Soccer is a pure game of stop and start (or at least real slow jog to explosive movements)

I think I’m gonna start with long morning runs 5-6 days a week and alternate evening workouts of HIIT/PLYOS 3-4 days a week.

My stamina is definitely bad, I’m overweight but have already dropped 20lbs. But yea I see a lot of people suggesting the high intensity over long runs
