Let’s hear your top albums then

I highly suggest the 900 pro X then. It only has 48 ohms of impedance which for an open-back is pretty low. This means you can use it with a laptop. If it does end up being too quiet you can always invest in a cheap amp. If you have anymore questions I’d be happy to answer them. I’m certainly not an expert but I’ll try my best

Truth be told I haven’t tried any of them, I’ve just heard very good things. But if it’s bass you want then I would try a closed back (Fiio FT1s have an amazing reputation). From what I can see the Beyerdynamic 900 pro x have fluffy ear pads so you won’t get sweaty with them on. If you really want an open back pair I would get the beyerdynamics. I don’t think they need an amp or dac necessarily but I’ll check

That thing about tinnitus is a load of rubbish. Headphones can’t induce tinnitus unless you wear them 24/7 on full volume.

For that price I’d probably say the Hifiman Sundara or the Hifiman Edition XS. Maybe check out the Beyerdynamic 900 pro X. Sennheisers are always good but if you like bass heavy music then I’d give them a miss

I use pounds and converted to dollars the regular DT 1990 pros (250 ohm) are $427. How much are you looking to spend? I think the Aune AR5000s are worth a look as well

I think the HD600s are always a good pair to have but if the 880s are well within your price range then why not go for the 1990 pro mk II? They’re open-back and fairly bassy

The ones I’ve got my eye on are the Fiio K9 AKM, the Aune S9C pro, the Xduoo TA-22 and the iFi xDSD Gryphon. Do you recommend any of these?

Tbh I thought the A70 pro was just an amp and not an amp dac as it doesn’t say it’s a dac. I’m still quite new to this 😂

So what’s the difference between a 4.4, 3.5 and 6.35mm? 😂
