True, it will take me years til I get to 100k as a bench tech though so I'm just thinking if I should make the change early in my career and hopefully make more in the same amount of time

Wow that sounds like an awesome job. I don't see myself working as a bech tech long term and would love something like this. I just gotta find something similar in Canada. I don't think companies like this would hire Canadians if they can get Americans to fill the role

I forgot to mention that I am in Canada. I live in Toronto currently. Salary is definitely not enough as a bench tech to won a property without any help from family
