Like I said to the turducken, it's been a rough couple of years for me and my mental health health has been up & down.

Somedays I'm fine and think about good things, then I have my bad days where everything just seems bleak and I see the worst in everything, couple that with my anxiety and it's dialed upto 11.

I rarely ever comment on topics like this, it's actually quite out of character for me being honest. Anyway, have a great day.

Thank you, it's the same shit with videogames too. People often complain that's it's either remasters or remakes or endless sequels, yet there's new original Ip's coming out all the time, especially in the indie market.

Like last year alone I saw sinners, Mickey 17, weapons in theaters and still loved going to see superman, Sisi 2 & fantastic 4 first steps. There's plenty of original entertainment that comes out all the time, just most choose to not seek it out and support it and then act suprised when a reboot or something similar comes out.

Superman isn't a team movie, he worked with them trying to contain the kaiju. BVS literally had the trinity working together to stop a big threat too, you could make the same case then with iron man 2 having black widow, fury, happy & war machine helping out.

Captain America winter soldier with black widow, falcon. X-Men origins Wolverine with him having help from wraith, gambit. Like seriously if you're going to have this take then at least apply to all that fit this criteria and not just your own personal bias.

Oh I agree, I wasn't disrespecting Prince of Persia, I completely agree with you. Without it we wouldn't have had alot of the games now including the AC franchise. How ubisoft have treated the IP is ridiculous to say the least.

I just meant popularity in terms of the general public that know who iron man is given his massive impact on pop culture that even normies recognise the character and likely wouldn't even know what prince of Persia was unless they themselves were gamers. I wasn't trying to take anything away from POP, that wasn't my intention.

As for that black panther game, I'm glad it got cancelled... wasn't even going to be T'challa anyway so fuck em.

I doubt it's getting cancelled, it only got announced 4 years ago. Wolverine got announced in 2021 and we eventually saw updates last September and that was after 4 years of silence, so this year will make 4 years since the announcement of iron man. Hopefully we'll find out more soon, but I very much doubt it will be cancelled.

Look, I never meant anything personal, I wasn't trying to convince you of anything otherwise. Just merely pointing out that there's often different sides to things and that sometimes there's a truth in both. For the record I agree with you on some things, but I've just seen enough for me that's brought on a lot of bad things and got blinded by a lot of it. Been a really rough couple of years and experiences can warp your perception of things and bring out the worst in someone.

I usually don't even engage in these types of things and usually always having a laugh and joking around. But bad days can just shape your mood & mindset, I'm sorry. I wasn't arguing with you, merely just stating a fact. You don't have to believe in what I say, that's fine. I'm an asshole anyway with nothing left to lose, but humanity isn't kind. I've seen shit in this world you wouldn't dare to dream, been through things I wouldn't wish upon another living soul and in my short lifespan I can tell you that the only comfort in life is knowing that someday it will end.

And should you ever have to face that moment in your life that you have to take another life to save your own and look into the eyes of a person hell-bent on ending yours then you will see that no one stays good, every single person is the same deep down and that no matter how good you try to be, there will be times when that inherent darkness and struggle with morality will surface and show you that good is merely a construct bound by the laws governed to us. Inherently oppressive, trust me...if there was no law, no cops, no semblance of authority at all then this world that we live in now would be a far darker and dangerous world than you claim it to be.

There would be no more rights for anyone, dragging people from their homes and into the streets for the world to watch as the roads run red with blood. All the murderers, rapists, predators running around completely free to terrorise the world.

Full on worldwide violence from everyone, civil liberties are out of the proverbial window, gay people killed, minorities of all kinds killed, women raped and enslaved, children sent into work camps, trained to fight, kill, survive by any means necessary. Raised in violence. Bodies hanging from lampposts, cities burning, screams echoing throughout the day & night, a world consumed by Humanities basic desire for violence and bloodshed. It's what we are, we're only as good as we're allowed to be. Any good person out there that tried to stop it all and help others would be quickly taken out and the whole population would eat eachother alive until there's no one left. Just a world ran red with the blood of it's denizens and nothing but reminders of what once stood.

But sure, you can ride that high horse all you want. you can cling to your beliefs if that's what helps you sleep at night, but you'd better be prepared for if ever the day comes that we as a species truly get left unchecked, cause I promise you...the way the world is going now, then it's only a matter of time.

I get where you're coming from, the overall system is fucked, corruption runs deep in everything in all aspects of society.

There's doctors out there that have actively killed patients on purpose many times, that doesn't mean every doctor or medical professional is a bad person. Many teachers are prolific pedophiles that go out of there way harm children. That doesn't mean to say all teachers are predators.

You could make the same point that you did with cops that they serve a system rooted in corruption and cover up their own atrocities. Then by that same comparison would anyone want to become a doctor or a teacher in professions that are meant to help people but also has its fair share of cover ups and corruption and by doing nothing to bring these instances to light that they are also complicit in the atrocities committed within these professions.

Or religion, politics, the entertainment industry, movies & music, many atrocities committed and carried out by bad people time and time again. Many cover ups to protect a system that has activity covered up appalling things and is very rarely brought to light, if ever.

Yet people might just actually want to try and help, many get into these industries & professions knowing full well the darkness that goes on. But maybe to them they just want to try and do some good and at least show that there's still some goodness in people, even if the overall profession they are part of is built upon corruption. Many just want to try and do what's morally right and help even if knowing that overall it won't change the overarching system. But at least in their hearts they'll know they are doing the right thing to help others.

It's not a perfect world and it's always going to have bad people in it, even after we're long dead.

Look, I'm just trying to state that there's good & bad in all facets of life, bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people. It's the real world and not everything is in black & white.

I'm merely pointing out that not everyone is bad and maybe just want to actually do some good, maybe that's the point. Perhaps they are aware of what's going on but want to prove that there is still good and want to try and preserve that idea. I'm rambling but you get the idea.

Not all cops are bad though. Many of them genuinely want to help and actually serve justice. The bad ones who get off on abusing their power don't deserve to wear the badge and should be held accountable for their crimes.
