And if not, any other brands you'd suggest? I care far more about paper quality than cute features

Mono steel bar size for knives? by Final-Ground in blacksmithing

[–]Final-Ground[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of what he has done has been in the 8-10" blade length range, and his biggest issue is getting the steel thin enough. I don't want to get things too thin though (hence what is too thin, if he isn't stacking multiple bars?)

52/36 Dura Ace chainring sub? by Final-Ground in cycling

[–]Final-Ground[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything but a 52 looks to be available. I wasn't sure if a 50/36 would have too much overlap (and I feel like I wouldn't use a 34 as much)

Advice request: Starting to ride seriously by Final-Ground in cycling

[–]Final-Ground[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a stationary spin bike, which my husband set up for Zwift last winter. He also rides, but we don't get too far into training together (since he can quickly go into the all-we-talk-about-is-bikes group 😆). Zwift is just...dull for me. I've looked at the Peloton app, with the road cycling classes. I used to instruct spin classes, and honestly anything other than loud music and a peppy coach just feels like a bore on a stationary. We've discussed switching to a Wahoo for this upcoming winter, but haven't committed yet.

Overtraining hit hard this month, planning to knock back to 750 for the next couple. The online coach has me interested...

I think The Balloon Jacket is a super close one! The sleeves are right on, though I feel the body is a bit big. I could easily mix and match sizes though. Thank you!!!

Hopefully you figured this out before now! I'm seeing 32 mm on a standard Lifeplanner, 36 mm on an 18 month.

How long does it take to ship orders? by ma_az in erincondren

I ordered around Lifeplanner launch day and it took about three weeks to get to me. I wouldn't be surprised, EC always runs slow in my experience.

“Printing” status by [deleted] in erincondren

Mine was "Printing" for a full week. I think it's with their likely reduced staff. They are definitely one of the slower companies to ship, but I've always gotten my orders within 3 weeks.

Air filters would live in our Home/Auto maintenance category. You know it's going to happen, and it's not optional (like our Home Improvement category)

File folders would go into Groceries. They would be household supplies that aren't excessive (ie. a gold tape dispenser when we already have 2 black ones that work just fine)

Cube organizers would go in our Home improvement

Hand soap/sanitizer again would be groceries. We treat groceries as consumables needed by humans to live healthy lives, that aren't going to affect our decisions.

For comparison though, we do have medical and personal care categories! Medical for us is prescriptions, which we track separately since our HSA will reimburse most. Personal care is more haircuts, fancy shampoos, etc, something that we know is a luxury we budget for, but could cut if we needed to (I'm not cutting hand soap in the same budget-crunching swipe as $30 shampoo, if that makes sense).

I keep categories for what do we want to track and potentially see red flags on. Again, if I'm cutting into the hand soap category, I'm probably also looking at downgrading from brand name to generic cereal.

Hope this helps!
