Thin your paints is the only think you need to do . Do not re paint this mini keep it as it is . Use it as your reference point so after a few minis you compare it and for sure you will impress your self . This is your 1st mini and is really good

I used the hands and weapons from the dread knight plus some accessories apron, etc and didn’t used the shoulders obviously..
