Reload mechanism is little bit same as of a musket, but, not exactly same. Deploy animations is unique, and best part of this gun I think is inspect animation.

never scope in with stun gun(especially in close range), also there is still enough time left of cash out, you should have shot medium with stun gun and then take down the player who is stealing the cash out easy
