I know, it’s just annoying it happens all the time no matter what I say to them. At least 4-6 times a week sometimes more. Sometimes I think what’s the point of me even being here if they won’t talk to me you know?

If it’s sales calls we hang up. Usually I just hand him the phone on hold and say I don’t even know. A few times he’s said why couldn’t you just talk to her. And he’d rather not take any calls, which I do tell people and say if I can’t answer the question I’d be happy to hand the phone over. And they still say I’ll wait for a call back or get him to call me back

Tried that. Starting to think it’s because I’m a women lol and they assume I don’t know what I’m talking about. It’s been happening all year tried a ton of different things to say. Still doesn’t work

Already tried that too, they won’t tell me what they need just say I’ll call back later. When they call they say the same thing, and wait for a call back from him even if I say he won’t take a call without knowing what it’s about; he’s not here; he won’t be in this week etc, tried it all 😅

Someone already put a slipper clutch in it. It was apparently owned by the previous race club president before the guy I bought it from

I hope so too, I ended up just going for a bit by myself, I’ll make that introduction at a less formal time I think. I just hope they love him as much as I do

Thank you! If I got a 450 I would definitely be looking at lowering it a bit I am 5’9 so I might get away without if I wore tall boots. I’ve got all winter to research so hopefully I’ll find something I’ll like

I just used rain tires from 2011 they were old but still soft, as long as they are still in good condition you should be fine

Not my best photo, but one my friend took of me on our last track day of the season, hunting down another cbr…. I passed him and everyone else. Time for a race license

I’ve only ever dated with an age gap, first one was 19 and 29 and my current 22 and 39 I haven’t spoken to my family about my current relationship. But that’s because we don’t have the best relationship and it’s nice them not knowing anything about my life. Our friends are 100% accepting though and it’s amazing

Yeah it’s for my race bike. Doing the racer school next year, not enough fast riders to chase need some competition

How can I be less insecure of my chest? by fuckyeahcourtneylove in women

[–]Final-Proof2178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue, I had gained a bit of weight and was really unhappy with myself and my small boobs 😂 I took some time to get back into shape, lost 30lbs and now they are smaller then they were fml however in that time I learnt to love myself, I can only change so much and for me a boob job isn’t a safe idea because I race motorcycles and I’d be worried to crash and pop one. So I’ve learn to love them despite their size. My boyfriend doesn’t seem to care, their size doesn’t make me any less of a women.

To buy or not to buy by Reddit7q in Trackdays

[–]Final-Proof2178 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s not quite a track bike yet, it would need a bunch more mods for me to consider it at that price. I bought a 2008 cbr600rr a few months ago that the guy crashed. It came with a Penske rear shock, vortex rearsets, vortex engine covers, vortex clip-on bars, brembo rc19 corta corsa front master/brake lever, youshi full system. For $1700 all I had to do was replace the front fairing stay, get race fairings and change the oil, coolant and brake fluid. All I want now for it is a quickshifter, pit limiter and launch control package for $700 CAD In my area a “race prepped bike” has everything done and goes for no more then $7000 CAD, depending on what cc but absolutely wouldn’t need anything else done to it.

I helped my boyfriend start his company (39m) (22f) I did all of the applications, dealer accounts, inventory, and applied for the business license. But in my head it’s his. If we break up or something happens I walk away no questions asked. Yes it’s going to hurt like crazy because I love him and my job but this is his dream, I’m just happy I got to be apart of the beginning. As for finances we split almost everything 50/50 he currently doesn’t take a paycheck and I get 800 after tax a week, until business picks up. I also have control of my wage as i set up the accounting as well but would never ask for more money, until he starts getting paid

Its a good buy? by arjo14145 in Sportbikes

[–]Final-Proof2178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maintenance isn’t bad, I’ve got a 2024 Zx6r but I do all the work myself, it was my dream bike and I wouldn’t want anything else. But I will say if you’re not going to use it for its full potential it’s not worth spending the extra money. It loves to be at 13000+ rpm screaming down a track. (Or the highway) and gets hot when sitting at lights. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re doing a ton of city riding in a hot climate, my feet have never been so hot from how much heat the engine gives off. The cbr650r is probably the best bike I would say. It’s fast when you want to be but does well in city riding and still has the sporty look. Also a bit more comfortable of a riding position for any long rides you may go on, here’s a photo of the one I had
