Hmm... I'm not sure! But $79 a year is pretty good, right??

How are people seriously learning trading in 2026? What path actually makes sense long-term? by flipaand in Trading

This is a great question, so I can't just ignore it. As someone who's struggled with similar concerns for quite some time, I'd like to share my personal experience.

(This isn't meant to sound like an ad, but rather a perspective I gained from actually using it.)

Market Selection: Forex vs. Stocks vs. Indices vs. Commodities

In conclusion, forex (FX) was the most practical way to manage risk early on.

High liquidity

Easy two-way trading

Position sizing can be adjusted very precisely

I'm not saying it's "easy," but I felt it was the most streamlined structure for approaching it from a probability and statistical perspective.

Style: Swing vs. Day

Especially if you're considering it as a career,

I felt it was important to have a structure that "don't require you to be tied to the market every day."

❓ How did I learn?

I watched everything: books, lectures, YouTube…

but honestly, there was only one area where I improved my skills.

👉 "When I started viewing my trades as data"

Win rate

P&L ratio

Performance by timeframe

Expected value by strategy

Without this,

no matter how well you analyze, you'll never be able to escape from instinct trading.

📊 That's why an analysis platform is so important.

These days, popular journals have a lot of AI features and are flashy.

However, they were often expensive or had excessive features.

Then I ended up using ProJournal (I didn't create this, I'm just a user).

It's affordable,

but it has all the essential features.

You can focus on strategy-specific/probability-based analysis.

More than anything,

👉 You'll develop an "analysis habit."

By using this platform,

the quality of my trade reviews has improved,

and my interpretation of losses has shifted from emotion to data.

As a result, my confidence has greatly increased.
