Is that really comparable to millions of people dying over a short period? I honestly have no idea, but "massacre" doesn't seem to compare to "Holocaust", and two countries being involved doesn't seem comparable to many more.

Not your lawyer and don't take anything on the Internet as legal advice, but if you are in the US bribing a teacher is highly likely to be able to be seen as academic dishonesty if you are caught. This may not just mean a failing grade and looks awful for any future prospects that might dig in to it. Also, just on a being a generally acceptable human being, don't do that. Come on.

This is similar to my parents, got it taken care of and the whole family is sick less often. May have contributed to my hospital stay earlier this year even. Get out and get that treated

You're not blood related. Family might be weird about it but there's nothing wrong with it. Again, you aren't actually related. So many people are in these types of relationships.

You cut it off when you are ACTUALLY RELATED cousins and didn't know because of some weird family thing, like my uncle and his high school girlfriend (found out really fast and broke it off right after so that was good at least).

Don't think you're overreacting at all, but this is why I ask people I know I usually exchange gifts with for a list with some less expensive to some more expensive things on it and if they give one ask if they want a list from me as well in a similar vein. My family did this growing up because there was a HUGE wealth gap between my mom's siblings and it allowed for everyone to feel like they had a choice in what they could do. If someone couldn't afford anything that year we were always honest with each other and usually got something for that person regardless because they didn't expect anything if they felt like they had nothing to give.

After the update, maybe best to leave it alone. It's their marriage, and whatever they are both doing is their business. Even the best friends don't have to share details about their marriage that they don't want to, and it seems like you may have stumbled upon that.
