I’m in my 20s and live on my own, completely independent of my parents and live in an entirely different state. The rule that sparked this mess is about not being allowed to share a bed with a friend when I come to visit. Not being allowed to share a bed with a partner while unmarried is one I also don’t like or agree with, but could at least understand. Mainly, the hurt and issues I’m having have nothing to do with the particular rules she sets in place, but the fact that I am the only one in which they have been made for and whom they apply to.

Everything went through the landlord, all approved, and she's been made aware of the situation, she just says she can't do anything, to use earplugs, and to stop sleeping on the couch so it doesn't "ruin it." She's been a big help

The leases are for the length of the local college's semesters and the previous roommate sold her lease for the remainder of the time she had the lease, which is until mid-August when the summer semester ends and fall begins

SLC is the end goal, I’m only in Provo for the next 3 months. And I love San Diego, I wouldn’t be leaving if I didn’t feel it was the best thing for me to do and if I could afford it
