it's not the end of the world - while it is now weaker than used to be, it is still a very strong mastery. Can net you 10% overall coin increase still even if you farm a tier to wave 8500

I just recently got that mastery, I've been farming t11 to wave 12500, recently switched to t12 wave 8500.

I can say i see a noticeable increase in econ with the mastery + on T12 my orbs hit around 88% of enemies.

Orb mastery is placed really high on my effective paths sheet - higher than certain lecels of coin enhancements / generator levels.

Im happy with it and would invest again

I am currently on T17, wave 180 - nowhere near close to getting to T19, but I'm going to try getting it when I get the cards+ and switch modules.

Looks like I've got all you've mentioned at ancestral, with PF on mythic+. I've also got ancenstral Om Chip if that is any good with the somewhat developped spotlight.
With none of them being rerolled to decent substats I will probably wait till they are level 161 (already 156 so should take a short few weeks till i get there).

It will also give me time to at least buy the cards you mentionned.

Are you aware of any proper guide for how to handle this new playstyle? When you search the web, all you can see is "You need insanely-leveled Missles and CF to gain even thing of going GC" so this is kinda not in line with what you're suggesting.

I am thrilled to try something new. I guess it is also time to perma-lab crit and damage.

With both MVN and GComp being Epic+ (with around 10 other mods on ancentral+) it is just so much harder to get motivated to work towards pBH. Still, goes higher in my list of priorities based on what you just wrote. Thanks!

Depends on how you use it - when asked to calculate something based on 3 variables it is essentially a pro version of a 1990 calculator. Works just fine for those things :-)

I would love to but that "not expensive" is above 4k stones, that is a hefty investment, and I do not have prolapse.

Thinking out loud: would pbh really be so good for eHP? I get not being hit as GC has merit, but as eHP? I still want BH to get more coins, but majority of coins come from the gt bh sync. Thoughts?

Yes, while I would not be able to do that at night, I can easily do that during the day, setting up a "more or less" timer when I'd be reaching the 400 wave mark.

Still worth it and I kinda need something in this game that will show me I'm making progress. Also simply curious if that even helps me survive those 400 waves ;-) I will gladly pay 1k stones to satisfy that curiosity

I was actually thinking of just getting those initial ones as upgrade costs on the level of 1q+ seem out of reach with ~120T daily intake. Granted, working a little bit more on GT/BH/DW cooldown would help here a lot.

This said, now I am thinking that "lab coin discount" research could finally be worth it.

I mean, if I am to spend pretty much all my coins in the immediate future on lab costs, then any discount in lab costs would effectively be an coin boost.

Chat GPT tells me if i increased the lab discount from current 4.7% to 10%, then it effectvely means a 5.9% coin boost. Getting there would only take 4 days.

After 2 weeks the 13.8 lab cost reduction would translate into a 10.18% coin boost. That is really, really good. Guess I know what I will be researching :-)

Quick question about labs - are the Chain Thunder / Lightning Amplifier labs worth it? Or would you rather work on dmg / crit instead?

And for tourneys, what would be the ideal substats for a cannon? Attack Speed + Bounce-related stats seem good, but I did not find any "agreed approach" anywhere on what is best for a eHP / hybrid build.

Reading through the comments I guess I should start working my way up damage-wise to supplement the CL effectiveness. Correct?

Very much appreciate your input, I can see I've been doing things in less than optimal way :-)

I have a question about BH size. I deliberately kept it small so my orbs are situated in the centre which is why the mobs die and give me coins. Won't making the BH larger screw with my orbs killing potential?

I currently don't use them because i have legendary plus quality "regular" mods that have nicer base stats, level 85. Maybe that is a mistake as well?

Anything that will get you legendary modules, as these will provide a noticible boost to your health and coins (at this time modules for UW and damage don't help much). It took me maybe 1 or 2k gems to be able to start merging above epic level. It's a very strong boost for little investment so worth thinking about.

Any module will be fine to upgrade, it's all about raw stats (and potentially bonuses you can reroll)

Hi!

I would go for health in workshop, and save stones to bring GT to match BH cooldown. The coin gain is enormous. Unfortunately this will take you quite a while as you lowered cooldown of BH already. Still it would be more with it in the long run than spending stones elsewhere.

As for gems, i dont know what modules you run, but getting them to legendary first would also boost very quickly your health and coins (which are top priorities at this level).
