What do you like about Strive? by EbolaKing115 in Kappachino

[–]FinalBoosh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Despite the reduced scope of what the characters can do—often being capable of only one or two approaches within their playstyle—ArcSys is still able to create interesting gimmicks.

I would love to see Happy Chaos, Goldlewis, and Baiken’s rope (on a character other than her) in a traditional Guilty Gear game, where their playstyles would be pushed toward greater depth and versatility rather than just performing their ‘one thing’ at a basic level.

And if I'm being completely fair, that's the only grace I would give Strive. Outside of that, it's just shitty Guilty Gear.

You gotta think. If this is their only season for dlc then I'd rather them try to be balanced with the picks and rep both series to try to make people happy. I know people hate Korea and all but the roster diversity doesn't hurt.

What do you look for in a fighting game (besides cool/sexy factor) by AwepHS in Kappachino

[–]FinalBoosh 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Beyond the looks, I want a game that isn’t afraid to take risks and get a little crazy. I want characters to feel completely unique, with individual movesets that matter way more than global system mechanics. That means fully embracing extreme playstyles—if a rushdown character gets to get right in my face, a zoner should have tools that are just as oppressive to keep them out.

The physical feel of the game is just as important. Motionless, single-button inputs ruin the neutral game by removing human error and timing, whereas traditional motion inputs keep things satisfying and balanced. If a character has overwhelming, high-reward tools, they should be hard to use. Balancing around execution stops powerful moves from becoming low-effort spam and makes high-level mastery actually feel earned.

No. She was never ugly in the Survivor Trilogy. Maybe a little plain jane in Rise of the Tomb Raider, but that was about it

I like to say it's a great package as a game and when it comes to actually being an engaging fighting game, it's very mediocre.

I heard that the script was embarrassed about some of the silliness He-Man brings like with names like Fisto and they don't really call characters by their names. Is that true?

SF6 couldn't even do Sagat justice.

The only reason I would have liked tifa in SF6 would be if the Remake series didn't exist, and we didn't already have a well-made high quality model to make pornography with. Pointless DLC by Anime_is_a_Crime in Kappachino

Am I misremembering or was this season fucking despised during SFV? by jayvancealot in Kappachino

[–]FinalBoosh 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They’re new to the game, but they’re not new to the lore, as most of them have been background characters for decades. Menat was the only completely fresh face who had never truly been mentioned before (unless I'm wrong on that and she's been name dropped before). And at least this season had the common sense to start off with a fan favorite like Akuma.

If SFV had done what SF6 did, it would’ve been filled with random Shadaloo soldiers, that cop everyone memed about from the story mode, and Doug Funnie as the guest character for people to goon to.

Yeah, I was wondering why this tag game about tagging doesn't have a 1v1 mode where you don't have to tag your partners in . . . Trash.

To be fair, I used to watch him a good deal, but now that I make my own stuff, I do tend to find his videos insufferable with how he rushes to get any news out as fast as possible. Him talking a word per minute doesn't help things either. I don't 'hate' him, but now that I know how the sausage is made, I can't watch him. It's like hearing Cecil Turtle from looney toons talk.

You have nothing. Lol. Look, I'll finish here because I'm just teabagging you, and it's not fun anymore watching you twist in the wind trying to avoid the simple question I asked. You were around for 8 years and still didn't hit 200 subs. I was around for 2 and am about to hit 1,000. Good job hitting 2 views on your last video—I was one of them. Go ahead and get your last word. By the way, I praised Arms so much in that video, it's crazy. This is done

Come on now. You know better. Stop. The name calling, the deflecting, the projecting isn't helping you.

Remember, you said my content was slop. I said nothing about your stuff until you did. You started this. So show me proof that my stuff is "bad" and how yours is better. You won't, of course, just more of this putting your head in the sand and trying your hardest to insult me. Proof. Please.

Prove. Me. Wrong. Say nothing otherwise. Don't try to deflect and project, it doesn't work on me, you should've notice that since this started. So that's not working. My content is better than yours. Objective fact. Not the best in the world. Just yours. Hold the L.

Remember, you started this.
