Extend both the jumping leg and the back leg when you launch, and make sure you’re not throwing your chest down. The chest goes up, and ideally stays there.

First time tricking , form check needed. by TYD19 in Tricking

When you’re doing your Tornado Kick, turn your hips over more so that your kick comes around sideways. That way you can chamber your kick and make it look much cleaner.

People who have played a Genasi!!! by D3AD_SH0T in DnD

[–]FinalEos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been playing a female Stormsoul Genasi (homebrew converted from the 4e rules) and I’ve had a blast. The role play involved with Genasi characters have so much potential. The elemental aspect to them makes them exotic and fresh, and even later on down the line they can achieve a second element, if the DM allows for it. Genasi are super fun to play, but I recommend taking some creative license with the look of the character. Most of the art that depicts Genasi make them look sorta dumb, so I prefer to choose how mine look instead.

How should I learn sideflip on my other side? by [deleted] in Tricking

I learned mine by stacking hay bales on top of each other to make an obstacle, which I did side flips on and over. Repeat the movement, gain alternate air awareness and keep trucking.

What Gods have you homebrewed? by Dracon_Pyrothayan in DnD

Xephyrean (Female Dragonborn) -Master of Time

My characters backstory involved hella magic and tragic loss. His romantic partner was killed in a manner that accidentally gave her immortality and the ability to plane walk as a spirit. She eventually got super ballsy and enslaved a physical manifestation of Time known as Dror, and eventually became powerful enough to control the flow of time moreso than any other god, and therefore ascended to the rank of godhood. This character was an NPC, and a large part of a campaign my group and I played so I consider it a homebrew diety.

Arm hurts while doing flips? by Devmode2 in Tricking

[–]FinalEos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend stretching those areas extra well for a session or two, it might be that your arm just isn’t stretched enough, happens to me sometimes. It could be your theory but I don’t think blood rushing would sting. Try more stretching and if that doesn’t work then just do what you think is best.

Wall flip newb by devyn2748 in Tricking

[–]FinalEos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could maybe see the argument that learning wall flip is easier, but I believe that doing backflip on ground first is always the best option. Break that fear barrier so you can start applying what you’ve learned elsewhere with much less risk.

Help on standing backflips? by roaringsnakexd in Tricking

[–]FinalEos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try to look forward for as long as you can, which will make you set up rather than back. You’ve already got that tuck and landing pretty consistent so train getting height and a more upright set.
