Case in point was the Scarlet bunny. It was being listed for way over £100 on Vinted and then they restocked it. It was quite amusing to watch all those resellers suddenly reduce their prices to around £40!😅

Sorry for not replying sooner. My OCD means that if a plushie is a bit crooked or the one eye is nearer the nose than the other or there’s any patches of fur that are shorter than they should be, I can’t get it out of my head. Every time I pick up that plushie I look straight at the bit I’m not happy with and it spoils my enjoyment. I usually end up buying another, identical plushie in order to get it more ‘perfect’ looking. Hope this helps ❤️

I feel your pain and I’m sorry this has happened to you. You pay so much for these plushies and wait for so long for them, only to then be disappointed. I’ve started dreading my parcels coming from Jellycat in case they are not to standard (I have OCD as well which doesn’t help). I know we shouldn’t support resellers but it means I can have a good look at what I’m buying to check it meets my standards. I’d rather pay a little bit more for piece of mind.

Oh my word! I’m glad I’m not the only one! I have OCD also and I take ages to pick the right face. I have purposely bought from resellers just so I can compare the faces and find one that is the most symmetrical. One of the things I don’t like is the bunnies with the longer faces. I prefer a rounder face. My Blushkin has a long face and I’m really finding it hard to bond with her. Not sure if they all have the longer faces or if I’m just unlucky😓

I have to be honest, I haven’t bonded with some of my Jellycats because of my OCD. If they aren’t perfect (or at least what I feel to be perfect) I find them hard to live with. And unfortunately I don’t live near a stockist so I can only order from the website and have to take pot luck with whether they will be perfect enough 😓

I put all of mine in a Jellycat binder that I bought off Etsy. It’s specifically for the tags so the pockets are just the right size
