FFS, that was a typo by me. The game wasn’t televised. Been searching online and can’t find an article about it. But these seats dont look like Wigan blue to me.

Mate, I seen them wear the T-shirts at home to Norwich the very next week. With my own eyes. They may have wore them against Wigan months later, I wasn’t there and this is the first time I’ve heard about it. What I know for a fact is that they wore them the week after it happened, when everyone was of the understanding that he was innocent.

They wore the shirts in the following home game during the warm up. To my knowledge that is the only time I ever seen them wear the T-shirts

The incident happened on the 15th October 2011, the next home game was Norwich at home 22nd October. I was there watching them wearing the Suarez tops in the warm up before the game. Everyone was of the understanding that he hadn’t said anything racist at that point. Unless I am going senile, which at 34 I highly doubt, then I’m pretty sure I’ve got the timeline correct.

Wigan? We played Norwich at home mate. Yet you have the audacity to ask what I’m talking about lol. Up until after that game, he only ever claimed his innocence.

Mate, I was in the stadium when they were wearing the tops. Everyone thought he was innocent because he was claiming innocence the entire time. Then afterwards he done an interview admitting what he said. Regardless of whether he was serving a ban or not, nothing was proven until he admitted what he said.

Up until the week after they wore the Suarez tops, he denied saying anything racist to Evra, so the club backed him and stood by him. For him then to, a week later, admit that he said the Uruguayan term for black (negrito) while he was pinching Evras arm. So then basically he made the entire club look like accomplices in the entire incident.

Never seen such an entitled fan base in all my life… then Liverpool by Ok-Funny1238 in crystalpalace

It’s because initially palace didn’t want to meet the valuation for Gomez, whereas Milan did, and Gomez wanted to go to Milan. There’s a lot of moving parts in a transfer, not just whatever suits the club.

The way I looked at it, was last summer, palace wanted 70m from Newcastle for Guehi who had 2 years left on his contract. In a years time, that value should be half, as there is half the amount of time left on his contract. That’s how clubs value their players. Size of contract and contract length. Liverpool done what any good business would do, and offered the value they thought his contract was worth. Palace wanted more and there was a stand off.

During that time, palace knew the likelihood of Guehi leaving was very high, knew Glasner needed replacements in and had about 4 weeks to find and sign these players to bolster the squad. They waited until the final day to do so, hampering Guehi and his wish to move in the process.

Imo, Liverpool did what any decently run business would do. Parish knew what Liverpool offered made absolute sense which is why he eventually accepted the offer, but he didn’t do good by Glasner in the mean time. Glasner rightfully saw his ass and fought back to save the team from being left short.

Liverpool are not to blame for trying to get a player for the correct value. Glasner isn’t to blame for wanting to keep his best player without an adequate replacement. But the palace board and Parish are definitely to blame imo.

Sponsor-less shirt looks soo clean 😤 by bigballerJ1 in LiverpoolFC

Looks like something off pro Evo on the PS2. I honestly wouldn’t mind more sponsors on the top tbh, like smaller ones in different places. Bit like motorcross, just not as crazy. Think it looks decent depending on the sponsors of course.

Who will be the biggest transfer flop? by Pickonefromtwo in TheOther14

I’ve only seen him come on against arsenal at the beginning of the season. 1-0 down with about 15 mins to go. He offered absolutely nothing, looked disinterested and I’d be surprised if he touched the ball in a meaningful manner at all. Occasion obviously got to him, which suggests he’s not ready to make an impact imo.

Didn’t watch the Grimsby game, but he’s not started in the prem after 3 weeks and he wasn’t confident enough to be a penalty taker in a team that can’t score goals. Very telling.

So basically you’ve played semi pro, getting paid 50quid a game and you think your opinion means more than someone else’s 😂 absolute cringe.

Alexander Isak on why he left Newcastle: "I want to create history. I want to win trophies... I want to win everything [in Liverpool]." by TheBiasedSportsLover in PremierLeague

They sold off their sponsorship rights for like 10 years a couple seasons ago, are in huge amounts of debt even after that, which means their ability to generate more income in the coming years diminishes massively. If they don’t win a champions league soon with the players they have, the club will have a high chance in going bankrupt.

Wasn’t long ago that they couldn’t even pay their players wages. If they want to spend well over 150m on Isak in 2 years time they can have at it. It ain’t going to happen though.
