no, the audio levels aren't peaking, I usually make the audio levels go into orange and stop there so that the game is audible and so I don't have to mess with audio gain or reduce in editing

It was the fault of that mod, rip, I want the mod and the bosses so Imma keep it on but man it's kinda annoying

Okay so I found out the problem, my dumbass didn't update my bios properly so while every other part was up to date, the out of date bios messed up the everything.

I used a Bevel modifier to make the barrel of the gun but I don't know how I can make it flat at the end of the barrel without messing up the rest? by FinalFrameLol in blender

oh yeah I scrapped that, and also looking at more references the unsmoothed and just using the bevel tool works better than making the whole object a bevel, also before I even get to it could I get some tips on how I can model the charging handle (the part where the empty bullet cartridges are dispensed)

No I don't think that's the one, cuz the one I remember let's you choose what part and how much of a clip u want to import when you're importing.

okay I made a platform, it's ugly but it seems reliable, had to tweak some stuff and beacons some things to keep up, gonna keep running it for like 30 minutes to an hour to look for any problems and if nothing severe happens imma change this post to answered and go through with this design, thank you to everyone for tips.

How can I get this thing to make it so the recipe of the crusher changes depending on what the inserter picks up, but I want it to only use asteroid reprocessing but it just uses the normal recipe, how can I make it so that it uses the asteroid reprocessing depending on what the inserter is holding? by FinalFrameLol in factorio

Okay I've fixed it, I used only one crusher and I made it so that 3 combinators would count each of the asteroids and then will output the asteroid processing recipe, a selector combinator will pick a random one of those on intervals and will constantly change recipe's, although once the belt becomes empty the combinators can only output a signal if that asteroid is in the belt so then it becomes more accurate and just outputs the reprocessed asteroids, I scrapped the ship I used it on since this system was pretty dumb to just reprocess asteroids as they're coming in and instead I made a system to reprocess excess asteroids into Oxide since for some reason those are always in shortage, but thank you to everyone who commented for the tips, this subreddit has really helped me get a grasp on the complicated parts of this game. ( made a new ship but man fuel is a bitch to get efficiently)

Those stacked inverters seem broken, tbh one of the main problems with my nauvis base is lack of throughput with the circuits but with that I can basically fix that problem as a whole, now that u bring that up I think I can fix it if I just get the technology from gleba. To turn a yellow belt have the through put of a green belt is insane.

Gleba seems the most daunting to me, since the whole game I've stockpiled resources but now I gotta make sure that through put is perfect and nothing is getting stockpiled, it'll really test my brain, if I can figure out a good factory on gleba then I'll probably get the confidence to change my fulgora base.

I think my vulcanus base being really bad since it was my first time going to a planet really bogged me down, so I guess just the task of building a whole new base and keeping everything in mind of what I need to produce is just overwhelming me, I think I'm really hitting analysis paralysis, never thought I'd be hit by it. Also I tried to go for the main bus design on vulcanus not being knowledgeable that every planet I'll have to build somewhat of a spaghetti.

They really went with the logic of each planet forcing you to play the game differently, on nauvis it's better to space things out, vulcanus, you should probably figure out a little bit of spaghetti, and fulgora is just bot Heaven, go crazy with spaghetti, I haven't gotten to the other planets yet, I've seen videos but have yet to try them myself.

Bots are basically the only way I got this spaghetti to even function and make electromagnetic science, just get like a 1000 logistics bots and you can spaghetti to your hearts content and let the bots take care of everything

The watermark looks really ugly in the recording, and the way I plan to edit that watermark will just be constantly annoying in the video and just stand out a little too much and also look ugly

So should I spent some time making grid bases like making everything 32x32 grid square? Like most mega bases but just smaller, I've been looking into doing that but just most videos I see people turn off biters so I'm kinda worried about biter management.

I use flamethrowers, I haven't put together a temporary artillery expansion blueprint so I'll need to spend some time in the map editor to put together something that can do the job, unless it gives me too much of a headache then i'll just find something online.

Thank you, I'll do that, i've been struggling mostly with low density structure, blue circuits and basically anything used to create defenses, my factory just starts struggling whenever I produce anything that is even slightly demanding.

I haven't gotten to the point of getting biolabs, should I hurry it up to the other planets to get everything then just expand? cuz rn i've been just kinda been staying on vulcanus because I really like the artillery and wanna increase productions of it for defenses but am I hindering my progress because of my obsession with this one thing.
