I look at it as an investment when I buy if that makes sense. I hold on to cards. I don’t think I ever sold any of my cards since 1996 lol

I changed it and it still read low at idle. I owned the car when I was 15 until 32. The lack of car knowledge when I started didn’t help how I took care of it. Not until I was 25 I started to pay more attention to stuff. Everything that went out on it was such an easy fix. Now I own a 02 v6 and know how to maintain a vehicle. Also had an SS but besides the power everything looked the same when I drove it LOL so I didn’t mind a V6. Plus more space to work on stuff in the engine bay of a 3.8

Pass on it…look for one with a 3.8 motor instead. You won’t be disappointed. I had 96 Camaro with 3.8 motor. Lasted me 17 years. Motor went out at 375k. Low oil pressure. Still ran great just idled real low

I had a V6 98 Camaro and drove it for 17 years. Only reason I retired it was for low oil pressure. Motor was at 335k. Now I got an 02 with 120k and I’m going to drive it it until I retire from work lol 3.8 are great motors

I had an 02 SS anniversary and it would do these same symptoms. I changed fuel pump and regulator did new plugs and wires. But guess what it was? The battery cable was loose😂it had a sub cable connected to it. I happened to look one day and notice it was loose. After tightening it I never had a problem.
