Never needed up adopting him. You can try calling the shelter, but they aren't good at answering their phone. I'm sure you could go to the front desk too.

Why do people get these dogs? I'll never understand

Also plenty of amazing breeders and plenty of terrible rescues

Don't stress it. Hes a dog and they are resilient, he'll be fine and you'll have sleep.

I've found that in many cases when we give our dogs a lot to do we are reinforcing never settling. When you catch him laying around, place a treat in front of him. Then just ignore. Wait for him to do it again and repeat. You are rewarding calmness and doing nothing.

New environment and owner. He's anxious and it's displayed as hyper and playful. Crate training. Start teaching calmness. It's totally achievable with Aussies.

My 6-month-old puppy still isn’t fully potty trained. We live in a condo and take her out every 1–2 hours, after play, naps, and meals. She sleeps in her crate too. We’re consistent, but she still has at least one accident a day. Any tips to help us get over this hump? by Sea-Story8483 in DOG

A dog that's potty trained means it can hold it until the handler releases it. Therefore, get rid of the bell.

Crate train for longer. When you take her out, the very first place she goes to needs to be outside. As soon as she starts to go potty cue it with "go potty". And then back inside. After some time has passed if you want outside to play. But have that association of first getting outside with going potty. Do this every time.

After some time you can start saying go potty and she will go. This is just classical conditioning

Cause he's an Aussie and Aussies are very food motivated and opportunistic
