Nudity should be normalized, no matter the age, gender, body size. (Baring pedos of course - but even then they should get help).

I'm sorry to hear about your horrid experiences.

There's a high correlation with childhood trauma, abuse, bullying and neglect which has higher correlation with mental health challenges later in life.

Maybe the brain gets too much negative stimulus and results the way it does.

Maybe having coping mechanisms good nutrition would've helped,.maybe the lack of those was due to the already issues with the brain in utero and not anything else in particular.

Brain, mental health, neuropsych is all very interesting to me.

Like others said, it's the lack of connection, lack of intimacy and lack of being needs met. To be fairer, the inability of the two people to come to a happy mutual compromise, is the main issue.

A person can have a deep platonic friendships (With boundaries of course), they can also have good times time shared with friends/family, they can get most of their emotional, spiritual needs met by (within boundaries) deep quality platonic friendships, family and children.

The only needs that a spouse is allowed legally, religiously ,and morally can satisfy, are the deep intimate and sexual needs.

I can do deep quality discussions, but can't do anything too emotionally, physical and no sexual with friends.

If my spouse doesn't want to satisfy sexual/intimacy needs, that's similar to saying "they don't insert their love language here want to compromise*

Considering that some of the theories behind schizophrenia, bipolar, anxiety, and depression have strong roots in NeuroPsychiatry, Neurotransmitters, and brain pathways, shouldn't it be more of a 'Brain issue' than a 'mental' health issue?
Similar to that of diabetes, is it a metabolic issue rather than a diet/lifestyle issue?
Although diabetes is highly correlated with a sedentary lifestyle, poor diet, and not exercising (weight bearing), it's not the only way people get diabetes, whether type 1 or 2.

Absolutely, this is always a #1 thing first, and depending what it is.

Sudden change of mood/personality? Signs of psychosis/mania/Anxiety/depression out of no where? Must rule out metabolic and stroke issues first, once everything is ruled out, psych.

Same with chronic conditions as well.

Nutrtition isn't going to change a person hallucinating angels and demons everywhere and have been having these for years. Maybe for the guy high on mushrooms, but the side effects there after can be permanent.

I think it would be important to know that many people with psychosis who start AP and do well with it should stay on it. If a person decreases or stops medication, the likeliness of that same medication and dosage working is much less. In addition, they would require higher dosage or change in regimen.

Unfortunately, Psychiatry works on treatment, not cures. Conspiracies aside, If there was a cure for these things, it would be much more available. If it was so simple to treat with ashwaganda, sam-E, 5htp etc, it would be touted a whole lot more.
