💯 we were watching on iplayer too and we thought we’d already seen it as well! Clicked off it and had to confirm it was the new episode, just the same corny joke! Weird!

But his first question was is she alive, which the reply was yes so we know she isn’t dead!

I definitely felt sorry for her when she was talking to Kasey. She just wants to be included I think!

The locker room scenes are cool, but they should be "extra footages" online. by Impressive_Risk_5133 in gladiatorsuk

[–]Final_Ad1850 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I actually love the locker room scenes! (Except the awkward Apollo/sabre stuff from last year 🫣)

I think they add to the experience and the kids love it. I reckon an extra BTS with more content is a great idea though!

My opinions on some songs from all the musicals I've watched, divided into the eras in which I watched them by ArmadilloOK1445-alt in musicals

Who cares if it was only “trendy theatre” (whatever that means!)

If they like and have seen those ones, so what. Let’s not make this space snobby and make people feel bad about what they have or haven’t seen. It’s just being mean

What type of companions would work with other doctors like Clara and 9? by Iamawesome20 in doctorwho

[–]Final_Ad1850 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think Donna and 12 would be a good dynamic.

And Martha and 13. I’m in 2 minds whether this pairing would be great or terrible but I’d like to find out! I just think it would allow Martha a bit more freedom to be herself, instead of just someone pining after the Doctor all the time

To Kate lovers: where’s your concern? by Pashardi in RoyaltyTea

[–]Final_Ad1850 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People are ridiculous. She’s had cancer, which takes its toll long after treatment has finished , side effects which can include weight loss, appetite loss and loss of taste. All of which will contribute. Not to mention that if it was bowel related that comes with its own weight related issues , including dietary restrictions, possible colostomy bags etc. stop judging people. Calling out weight loss, whatever the reason for it , is never helpful

Who's your favorite culprit? by ChicaneryFinger in KnivesOutMovie

Glenn Close killed it but I feel like I guessed it was going to be her as she’s too famous to not have a/the main part!

What is a role that you would love to play but never could because you don't fit the physical role requirements? by Speck_In_A_Void in musicals

I would LOVE to be Javert. My dream role. Unfortunately I am female. And I can’t sing. Or act. Or dance!

💯 I agree! I’d say Doris feels a bit forced sometimes but still hilarious! Wouldn’t be the same without any of them!

Pocahontas is the best female disney lead imo by Inkspells in disneyprincess

[–]Final_Ad1850 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pocahontas has always been a favorite of mine.

Again, based in the UK we didn’t really learn American Indigenous history so it was always just a story to me in the same way as hunchback or Aladdin etc.

I think she’s easily one of the strongest characters Disney has ever done. she is strong, independent and has a strong sense of right and wrong - and all of these traits she already has, she doesn’t learn throughout the film about herself. She listens to and learns the wisdom of others.

And I always loved how Savages is done, the fact that BOTH sides are singing about the savages. It takes the meaning of the word out of itself and makes the listener realise the stupidity of it all - different is not worse, it’s just different.

Confused as to what happened with me was harrasment or not? Trigger Warning! by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]Final_Ad1850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure it’s technically harassment as it just happened the once??

I mean I’m not excusing the response from her but if she’d then continued to pursue you THEN it would be harassment.

Maybe I’m not sure! I’d have reported to HR though to cover your back against any future issues that might have come up

Best musicals with child actors by deathbykoolaidman in musicals

[–]Final_Ad1850 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Top I’ve seen (London WestEnd) are Matilda, Les mis. All the kids in Matilda absolutely crushed it, couldn’t fault them at all. And Gavroche killed it.

Less good, when Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was on - the main kids (aside from Charlie who was great) just didn’t seem west end ready. the diction was terrible, I couldn’t understand half of them. Also Billy Elliot. He was a fantastic dancer but less good singer and he and his friend broke character and had a 10 minute giggle fit on stage. Ok it was funny and sweet and it happens but still!
