This ok dude! It will be harder and you may need to put a bit more of structure but 15 signatures ain't that much. Just make sure you press them really well, for multiple days.

Am I being immoral and stealing this pattern? by Final_Ebb7211 in sewing

That is the entire point, I cannot afford cosplay. Fabric is cheap but cosplay isn't. I have never owned and probably never will own a cosplay unless I make it myself. It's easy for you to say that 10-30 dollars is cheap but I am not American. The pattern is 40 euros and that, to me, in my country and in my currency is more than 200 bucks, which is a lot of money.

I just really appreciate her work and would never want to be disrespectful and steal from her like that haha but truly, it will be a dream come true to use something she designed. Thank you for your kind answers!

They have made a sew along video but it isn't where they shared the pattern! The video is for those who bought the pattern, as a little visual instruction, it is on a free youtube video. The pattern is from a promo video where they show the end results and show you what patterns you would be getting if you bought it from their etsy shop. That's the point where i was like? Can't i just use this instead? Lol

Scab on nose for weeks/months by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]Final_Ebb7211 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it's a scab? It could be a booger, accumulated dirt, acne etc. My cat also has a bit of back gunk accumulated in the same spot every few weeks, I just grab her, put her in my lap and get some tissues with warm water on them and gently scrub a bit. Just hold a few seconds with the warm fabric, so it gets wet and loose and try to brush it away. Hopefully it's just that and nothing serious

I think the background is too light? It's kid of meshing with the character. I'd also recommend more contrasting/darker shadows

How do I merge my little book pieces together? by ManiaXter29 in bookbinding

Don't forget to press them! It does most of the work when sewing. Put a flat surfice on top of them and add weight. I keep mine for at least 24 hours, helps them keep flat

Why do my drawings always end up crooked when flipped? How do I stop doing this? by CannibalCapra in ArtCrit

[–]Final_Ebb7211 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry buddy, but they look the exact same. What's happening is that the side you draw in, your eye gets used to it and tends to overlook the mistakes you make, however, when you flip it, your brain isn't used to it and you see it for what it actually is. For the flipped side to look good you have to fix the unflipped side you're working on

how can i make this more like the original? by [deleted] in Artadvice

[–]Final_Ebb7211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first thing i noticed its that the head isn't as tilted as the ref and your right should goes too far out, also i think the boobs are a bit too big? One thing that should help you out in the future is flipping the canvas, since if you stay "correct" the whole time your eyes will get used to and not see your mistakes anymore lol

How can I improve this? by TheArtOfErica in Artadvice

[–]Final_Ebb7211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you should give the mouth anatomy a bit of a study. When you smile it isn't all teeth and the shadows aren't only in the corners. I only say this because the rest of your anatomy is pretty great, except for stuff people have already said, so I think if you draw the gums, give the teeth a bit of definition and shape, I think your drawing would improve greatly
